The Black Raven Brewery offers 5 regular beers on tap with an additional 5 limited runs and seasonal brews. In addition, they offer a large tap room with lots of seating including a private sitting area.Hungry? You can order from a variety of local establishments who will delivery to the brewery as well as the food truck of the day.Even though I enjoy a number of beers from other local breweries, Black Raven is my favorite and most frequented.

Visited this brewery today. Excellent beer and service. Ashley was on top on things. Will be back when time permits. Thank you. Oh, bought a nice souvenir glass.

This is one of my favorite microbreweries in the area. We are very picky about beer. Theirs always tastes clean and crisp. My personal favorite is the Morgan Stout. Rich in darkness and perfect session beer with a low alcohol content. Not hoppy and rich in maltiness flavor. Thursday's are cask nights and they always have a small cask of something new and interesting but don't wait until the next day for this one or you might miss out. They also have a selection of wine and cider to appeal to the non beer drinkers in your group. One of my favorite things to do here is go with friends and bring a board game to play. Although do not attempt this on a Friday or Saturday night as the place is very popular. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with large natural wood tables and chars that give it a very woodsy feeling. They occasionally have live music. For food you are welcome to bring your own (we typically order a pizza) order from the food truck outside or have food delivered. They do serve pretzels.

This is such a great find! Black Raven is definitely out of the way, and is definitely not in a "McMall" (commercial stripi mall). Instead, it is in an indistrial park, but don't let that fool you. The interior is nice and inviting, as are both the staff and the partrons. I have only been there twice now but will definitely be back. The beer is fresh and fantastic - especially the Trickster IPA and various porters.Tip: When you go (and you must), try a taste of a beer or two that you are not familiar with. You may find a new favorite! I know I did!

Their Trickster IPA is a reliable favorite, but there are so many other brews and special-run brews, that it's always hard to decide. On weekends a food truck shows up outside, which is good because they (still) don't sell any food inside. You can bring your own, or have local food delivered, and eat it on-premises (but please bus your own table! ;-). When you want a good IPA, this is BY FAR the best place in the Eastside (maybe even all of Seattle) to go!

My husband and I love this place. We come regularly to enjoy the great beer, laid back atmosphere and eat flying saucer pizza or sample the food truck. Friday evenings can be busy so get there early. Weekdays and weekend afternoons are a bit slower.

Nice pub located in a bus sines park in Redmond. Great beers, my favorite is trickster! They have many brews to choose from depending on your mood. They also come out with limited releases that are very tasty. Can be crowded but heck if you make good beer that's to be expected.

Black Raven is a true small craft brewery, focusing on making great beers in many different styles (often very experimental/unique varieties). It's a great place to hang out and have a great brew. This is a real tasting room -- they don't serve food -- but you can order in lots of good food and often Black Raven brings in a food truck (wait for the Barking Frog Mobile Kitchen - yum!) The only downside is that they close up early (10pm) so plan that in case you were thinking of staying later, but the amazing beers more than compensate for that.

It is no coincidence that this brewery is growing so rapidly. It provides excellent ales which are brewed by a team who are truly passionate about their trade. If you're not sure what you'll enjoy the bar staff provide excellent information about their brews. This brewery concentrate on one thing - making excellent ale. As a result, they do not sell food, but are quite happy to provide menus for local fast food deliveries.

Fun place. Have been there several times. Beer is great. Good location and great atmosphere, like an American Pub. We also like the snacks.

Their IPAs are stellar, and the venue has the feel of an Irish pub. No food unless you count the food truck outside (Note: If the polish sausage gal is there, go for it; they're great, Chicago-style dogs with some real snap!). I haven't tried all their varieties because the Trickster IPA is just so darn good. Last time we ordered on from that two-first-names sandwich delivery service. On a sunny afternoon after a long bike ride on the nearby slough, this is definitely the place to relax!

Detoured off the Sammamish River Bike Trail to try the beers. I'm on a quest to visit as many Washington breweries as possible. Raven makes 20 so far only 140 to go. I had the standard sample tray plus the 4 seasonals. All really good beers, as good as any I've tried. The taproom is very nice, food delivery is availble and food truck on site some weekends. Only knock is the staff. The woman that took our order seemed disinterested and acted like it was too much effort to tell us about the seasonals. My advice if you don't like to talk about beer don't work in a craft brewery. Second woman encountered by my wife actually rudely confronted her for being in a hallway. My wife had stopped at the "employee only" door to peer into the brew room. The staff member after chewing her out had the gall to tell her there is usually a chain blocking the hall. Which of course was not up. My advice if you don't want people to enjoy the beautiful space you've created then make it a dump. A friend also related a similar snooty experience on Brewers Open House weekend no less. Now I will add that the male staff we chatted with were very pleasant and into beer so maybe some selected staff turn over is needed here. Bottom line good beer but we will not be back, we will head to where the staff likes beer and customers. There are a lot of local breweries that provide that. And next bike trip we will go back to Redhook.

I am a fan of many of the breweries in the greater Seattle area, but I think Black Raven is really the best of the best. All of their beers are top notch. If you've never had their beer, get a sampler and try as many as you can. The Trickster IPA is one of their most popular, but they usually have a specialty brew or two that you can only get at the brewery. They don't have a kitchen, but they allow you to order delivery from nearby establishments or you can bring whatever you'd like to eat. It's a friendly atmosphere and I almost always meet someone interesting/fun to chat with when I go.

We came here after leaving Redhook. The Redhook tour was amazing, but the beers at Black Raven are better. Redhook is known for their ESB but the ESB here actually has flavor. This brewery is hard to find, but I'm glad we came here. No food, but they have good trucks in the parking lot and menus for pizza, and Thai, places on the table. Friendly and obvious beer crowd bartenders. Very cool vibe and great beers. Oh, and they have two two beers aged in white and red wine barrels from local wineries. Great experience if you like small batch craft beers.
