I booked my tickets for my husbands birthday and then realized that I had accidentally booked on the same date as another play. I called in less than 48 hours later and could not reach anyone in the company. I was on hold forever and finally forced to leave a voice mail. I finally reached them the next day and they told me that they had a 24 hour cancellation or change policy. When you purchase the tickets, it says nothing about that on the payment page. I was forced into paying $45 to rebook the tickets to another day. I don't even want to go now. This company has absolutely no customer service.

We got a really good deal with a Groupon. My wife and I got all dressed up in as close to 1930's attire as we had without going and buying stuff. I would say about half the people dressed up, some went way over the top, but all of it added to the experience. We were seated at a table with six others. Throughout the evening you will be working together with the people at your table to solve the mystery. For this reason it would be a lot of fun to go as a group. The others at our table weren't the most outgoing folk so we didn't really talk all that much. The food was excellent, not an exorbitant amount of it but very tasty. The acting was very good. The show was well put together and it was a lot of fun. A totally different experience than just going out to dinner. I strongly recommend to try it at least once. I would not bring children, however. There were two kids at our table, probably about 10 and 12 years old and they just looked bored.

The Murder Mystery Company was more than willing to donate tickets to South Sound Critter Care's fundraising auction to help raise money for the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife! Even though we contacted them at the last minute. We are so excited. What a fun and unique experience to put up for auction!

It was my husband's birthday. Every aspect was mishandled. First, I was told, via email, that the theme was Wild West and given the suggestion to go in costumes. I rented Western gear. Upon entry, we were the only ones in Western. The actual theme was Roaring 20's gangster... so we spent money on costumes to find we were misfits. Next, "the greeting": At the door we were stopped and denied admittance. We were told there was no reservation for us!. They had 'lost" the record. Even after I showed my receipt, we were still denied admittance. As if caught in a catch-22, the receptionist intoned, "I'm sorry. We do not show you on our list". To which I replied, "But here is my receipt. See?" to which she would reply. "sorry, you are not on the list" My flailing receipt finally wore her down, and we were RELUCTANTLY admitted... not the gracious , "Oh, yes.. Mr and Mrs ___, right this way. Good to see you" ... but that is not the end. I paid for a premium upgrade. This, too, was denied, even though the receipt specified it. Terrible experience.. We had driven quite a distance, rented costumes, upgraded to the best seats, and were treated as if we were interlopers or gate crashers.(as if anyone would drive this far on a lark) She showed the seating chart and proclaimed "We have two empty seats here, You can have those" (as if doing us a favor). We were seated next to the stage, our pics were taken (part of the upgrade) Yet, inconceivably, we were AGAIN challenged as to whether we belonged where we were seated. I had to show my receipt again... and again, when we claimed our photos... I had to prove I had paid for them. This was an arduous evening that dragged on and on in constant chaos. Instead of my husband's birthday being acknowledged (as requested) he was subjected to a loud, chaotic, interruptive, disturbing melee... as people moved from table to table trying searching for some clues. Eating dinner was akin to being in a cafeteria during a food fight. Now for the epilog to this stunting experience? I emailed the company about our experience... and NOTHING. They have not deigned to answer my email nor phone call. Most businesses would care about good will, would feel embarrassed to have such treatment for customers... but all this does is be consistent at their terrible customer relations.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE. I would NEVER go through this again, and it ruined my husband's birthday.

A lot of fun for an evening. You just might get chosen to be one of the characters. We went with a small group which made the evening that much more fun.

When we had missed our scheduled dinner I later learned there would be an additional 30 charge to reschedule and no mentioned this charge previously. I think this is bad business and they were unwilling to waive the fee. In essence they this would have cost us 90 bucks for the dinner and the extra rescheduling fee. Wow, I would rather go to a fancy restaurant for that price. Apparently you "murdered" our plans for dinner. No thank you!@

Thank you for your generous donation of 4 tickets to a future show in Snohomish County. We are planning an auction in Feb. 2013 in Seattle, with proceeds going to the Seattle Police Foundation. How fitting is your show? - following the clues, solving a crime, and putting the bad guys away! That is the role of our police department. I know the tickets will cause quite a bidding war with our guests and sell well. I personally can't wait to bring some friends up soon. It sounds like the PERFECT group event. Again, many thanks. We appreciate your support.

Want to go out to dinner but tired of the same old conversation. We enjoyed being part of the action. Well run fun for all!

We thoroughly enjoyed the show and food. I couldn't convince my table that I knew the murderer, although it turned out I was right! Definately will go again.

This was our second time attending this venue. The first time was a wedding theme for which we had purchased a Groupon. Not knowing to expect, we didn't dress up (which is optional), but my husband and I had a blast! On both occasions, the food was good, there is a bar if you want to buy drinks, the staff and the actors were excellent and obviously enjoyed what they were doing. The second time, we took three family members with us. This time it was a 1920s theme, and we did dress up, which was fun. My husband was picked as one of the "table actors" and was so into the character of Gramps, he won the award for "Best Actor"! There are clues at each table (you have to read the book!), and some of the show is scripted and some is improv. The actors involve and incorporate the audience easily, and as others have said, only to their level of comfort. We all were laughing to tears most of the evening! We highly recommend the Murder Mystery Dinner for a night out that is different than your run-of-the-mill outing. We will be back!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect as I have never been to something like this before but any expectations I did have were blown out of the water. It was very unique and a lot funnier than I thought it would be, the clues are also very well done and they actors really know how to get people to interact and have a good time. Overall it was really well done and a great value. I am so going again with my friends.

Several of us decided to go and try out this Murder Mystery event. We were invited to dress up for the party. We weren't sure what to expect. Murder in Gangsterland! It was a great night. It was so much fun!!! We laughed all night! The actors were great and involved the audience! We even solved the murder! We had such a great time we all decided we will do it again. This time we will dress us too!!! If you want to kick back and have a good time, lots of laughs and fun stuff. Try it out! It was definately worth it. Great fun.

the interaction with the company was wonderful. Its best if you dress up and get into the fun of it. Laughed till tears rolled down. Went with 5 others and we are all going back. We won best costume for a table. Loved the whole evening. Now we have more friends and family that want to go. Its fun having one from each table be part of the act. Great fun
