My husband and I went to Robin hood for a pre-valentine dinner, and in the past always had a wonderful dinner but things have changed. We ordered the Northwest cheese platter for appetizers and it was the best thing we had. The starter courses we ordered were ok but nothing too special. Then it went downhill we ordered the Valentine special lobster dinner. The lobster was served warm but very raw. It was so disgusting that I had to send it back, the chef sent it back still raw but now the top over cooked. We asked about the origins of the lobster and were told that it was from Canada. Well shame on Canada for letting this chef touch their lobster for he is obviously back there preparing things from frozen or not a fresh state and blaming his inability to cook the enormous country of Canada. In the past this restaurant has had a huge amount of pride knowing where all the food came from, preparing from fresh local items. There was no pride in this meal only one very upset stomach.What was ordered:Northwest cheese platter -very good but needed more crackersLocal greens salad with beets and candied nuts- goodClam chowder -okValentine Lobster -disgusting -coming back up an hour later it tasted even worse.No dessert- Stomach was too upset to orderTotal: $130Overall: It looks the same but the food has gone way down hill. Save your money until they get a new chef that doesn't blame Canada on his lack of ability.

We so enjoyed the Hot Tub so much! Would come back just for that! We also enjoyed meeting the Onsite Goats, Friar Tuck and his side kick. So cute!

If your looking to relax and unwind this is the perfect place to do that. Pour a class of wine and enjoy the fire pit by the water or in the court yard. it's kinda like camping without the hassle.

We stayed down the road at Alderbrook Resort and ate here two nights, the bar food is so so and the entrees way over priced. The Caesar salad was watery and I thought it tasted like watered down ranch. My friend and I ordered the French onion soup, which we were really looking forward to but we were both shocked at how sweet it was! Someone mentioned because it was vegetarian that may have made it sweet...don't know don't care it was bad. The chowder wasn't to die for, but it was okay. We had the same waiter both nights - that made up for the food because he was so great!

Good wine and craft beer selection and lots of food choices at reasonable prices. Known for great hamburgers and an intimate, cozy atmosphere. Weather permitting, the outdoor setting on a creek is picturesque. The bar has entertainment which is surprisingly good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable too.

A really great place to stay, things to do like rowboat and kyacks, ideal for couples, has an onsite restaurant that is good, location is a quiet setting, while kids would love to romp in the woods-this seems to be an adult place

We had venison and prawns with some kind of lemon glaze. Sooo good. Service was excellent too. We were there with a wedding party. Served several dishes and every one was great!

Super place for a romantic getaway. We've stayed several times and have never been disappointed. You have a full kitchen for cooking and a wonderful restaurant on site.

We bought a Groupon and stayed four nights at Robin Hood Village. Due to a mix-up in reservations, we spent the first night in cottage #4. It was larger than the cottage we had reserved, but, due to stairs everywhere, this cottage was a nightmare for someone with difficulty walking. The living room was spacious, with lots of seating for the two of us. The outdoor sauna was a nice touch, but the hot tub was under 98 degrees and the jets were not very powerful. We actually got chilled.The second through fourth nights were spent in cottage #11. This was much smaller, but more suited to our needs. It is a quite modern and had a warm feel. The hot tub was at about 103 degrees, and the jets actually caused bubbles. There was a walk-in shower, better for a disabled person, but the placing of the small shower right next to the toilet made it somewhat difficult to maneuver. Be forewarned: If you have broad shoulders, this shower will be very cramped, with moving around likely to cause you to hit the water handle. This caused some very cold moments! There is no dishwasher, which wasn't a problem, but the kitchen had a single sink, making dish washing less convenient.The area is beautiful! We enjoyed exploring two waterfalls and made a day trip to Bremerton - complete with a ferry ride from there to Seattle and back - and another to Port Townsend, a quaint community that displayed lots of the residents' pride with well-kept homes and lots of community resources.On a different note: We were surprised at the lack of spices and other items in the kitchens. We have stayed at many cabins and homes, and have never had such a minimum of kitchen items. There are enough dishes, pans, and utensils to get by (more so at cabin #11 than #4), but make sure you bring everything else you might need. If you wonder if it will be there, bring it. We usually leave some things behind for the next group to use, but doubted they would remain in the cabin, so we didn't leave anything. Also, a new full-sized bottle of body wash was accidentally left on the tub in cabin #4, but when we asked about it, we were told it wasn't there. Thank goodness for travel-size body wash! We were glad to be able to explore a new area, but would not pay full-price to stay again. Groupons are great!

Kerry and her team always do a great job. Only make it a few times year which I wish was not the case but always feel like a regular. Always a nice menu and always a great wine by the glass selection :-)

Go late night, the entertainment during the summer is wonderful. this is very much your typical "Cheers" bar. The bar is small, but very cozy and inviting. THe food is great, with a fantastic chef..who knew?! THe outdoor seating if wonderful in the summer, feels like an old friend's backyard garden. Will definatly come back!

My husband and chose this for a weekend getaway. We were in cottage 3. Although it fronts the road, it was not too loud - this may be because of the quiet time of year and the fact we had the windows closed. It may be louder in the summer.Our cottage was spotlessly clean. I walked in and looked around carefully and thought, "wow, even my grandmother would have approved!" This unit has an open loft bedroom area as well as a small bedroom. Since it was just the two of us, we used the loft because we adored the open, airy feel.The hot tub was awesome and functioned perfectly. We had everything we needed for a romantic weekend.Loved going up to the Steel Bridge at Vincent Falls on the Skokomish River, wine tasting in Hoodsport, lunch at the Model T pub and grill, breakfast and bloody marys at the Alderbrook Spa.Only disappointment was the food at the on-site restaurant. The menu Saturday night (1/25) was extremely limited (they did not have many of the items that were on the menu), and we had really been looking forward to this meal. Oh well.......... The music by the Blackberry Bushes was fun and it was a fun crowd in the bar - we didn't see any drama.I would definitely recommend this to my friends for a quiet weekend in the off-season. Not sure how it would be in the summer.

We stayed in a dbl cottage. Kind of like a duplex unit. The walls were thin and unless you want to listen to your neighbours phone conversation at 5 AM, I recommend you stay in one of the individual "stand-alone" cottages.

WWe both had the Elk medallions and they were great.

Loved being seated outside near a babbling brook, listening to a live jazz quartet. The food being farm to table was equally as imaginative as delectable. I will certainly return!
