renegade rooster winlock history collection

A 1700 sqft building housing an incredible array of vintage Americana all related to Winlock and Lewis County. Every possible vertical and horizontal surface is used to tastefully display interesting collections and individual items: egg-related (of course), drug store, music, barber shop, train, newspaper, logging, school, downtown, and even a still from the prohibiton days. If it happened in Winlock or was from Winlock, Roy Richards has snagged onto it! And the best part of all - it's all free to the visitor! Viewing is by appointment only but Roy is active but retired so he is often available to give visitors a captivating running commentary about his collections. I have seen home town boys who loved their home towns but I have never, EVER, seen one who spent thousands of dollars of their own hard-earned money to capture memories of their youth and honor the local folks who made an impact on his life in one way or another.
