There are lots of tasting rooms in WallaWalla. This one is worth the trouble to make an appointment and be led through the available selections. Glad we found it. Trip advisor reviews were spot on! Thanks Emily ! We all enjoyed our time with you.

This is one of the premier wineries in Walla Walla and ranks with the best in the US. Run by Greg Harriman, a Master Sommelier, they make complex, multidimensional, amazingly age-worthy wines from some of the top vineyard in WA. Open 11a-5p on Saturdays, you can also call to request a tasting at other times. The staff is amazingly knowledgeable and friendly, and the wines are astonishingly good. If they still have it, don't pass up a chance to try their picpoul, a rare white from southern France that is a real treat! But it's their syrahs that take center stage - and this is an amazing opportunity to taste a variety of top-flight wines. A must-do whenever you're in south central WA.

Our first impression, when arriving at Gramercy Cellars, was that the premises did not match the image one would normally associate with a winery that has been listed,on several occasions, in the top 100 in the world. However, it did not take us long to realize that, in this modest property, a small team of committed and focused professionals were crafting some very exciting wines. Robbi Ebel (no connection to the watch making industry) talked to us about the history and development of Gramercy Cellars, while Brandon Moss, partner and assistant winemaker, conducted the tasting session. Above all, the two 2011 syrahs, on our tasting flights, were both delightful. We had a slight preference for the 'Lagniappe'. It displayed a plethora of red and black fruit flavors, as well as a little heat of alcohol. On the palate, this medium to full-bodied wine delivered the right balance between spiciness, acidity and firm tannins. We expected, as in any great syrah, a little more violet tones and herbaceous notes. Also, we tried very hard, but failed miserably, to identify any hint of the 'promised' salami! It is quite possible that Swiss made and US salamis have different characteristics! This beautiful wine stands on its own. Its tipicity and elegance are key differentiators. Therefore, there is absolutely no need to make reference to a style of Hermitage. It is true that great wines start in the vineyards, with exceptional grapes. Ability to make wine in the minimal intervention style is a very commendable philosophy. However, it must not fool anyone. Making signature and great wines is very hard work. It requires constant monitoring, attention to detail and personal touch.Greg, Gramercy Cellars' founder, partner and winemaker, a former Head Sommelier, is using adroitly the vast knowledge that he has accumulated in the wine trade, and when he was exposed to the requests of very demanding customers. Greg is already heralded as one of America's winemaker rising stars. He and his team, in years to come, will continue to win many accolades. As we have discovered in our recent series of journeys, throughout the US, Gramercy wines are not easy to source. So, forget about the modest building and the salami, and pay Gramercy Cellars a visit. They may ship some great wines to your house.. A must!swiss visitors, May 2014

They have a very nice tasting room with a view. Their selections of whites and reds were nice. I purchased a bottle of red to enjoy at home.

We stumbled on this winery during a recent visit to Walla Walla. Joined the club and have never been disappointed.

Dang, Gramercy Cellars makes some killer wine! They are rather out-of-the-way, but well worth seeking out. There is no sign on the outside of the very cool building (tasting room and production facility), but inside is very cool. The wines? Spectacular. A sign reads "If you found us, there is no tasting fee." Awesome. If you are wine lover, you need to check our wine maker, owner, and master sommellier Greg Harrington's wines. Spectacular!

Thank you Steve for taking them time to provide a great tasting experience. My wife and I had made a tasting appointment late in the afternoon on a Friday. Steve met us and provided us with 4 or 5 tastes of beautiful wine, while explaining each one. Nicely done, and super wine. A strong recommendation to make an appointment to taste this wine.

Great wine - great atmosphere - worth the stop - make the effort!

We ended our wine trip at Gramercy Cellars and that phrase "saved the best for last" comes to mind. Not only are all four of the wines we tasted bold, full flavored, and delicious, but well worth the price. They are in a new location, hence the hard to find building. I will say though, that I think it adds to the charm. This didn't seem to be a well known winery in the community, making this the best kept secret of Walla Walla wine. You must stop here and enjoy the friendly service and comfortable, cool vibe while enjoying the excellent wines.

Gramercy was one of the best, if not the very best winery we visited in Walla Walla. We had a little bit of trouble finding the tasting room (the building is marked only by a couple wine barrels out front and a 3 inch sign on the door), but it was worth the hunt. The tasting room is a perfect mix of cool and comfortable and the wine was amazing. We especially liked the '08 tempranillo. I wish I could remember the name of the man pouring that day (he came from NY to join the Walla Walla wine industry) - he was very knowledgeable without being snobby and very fun to hand out with. This is an absolute must if you're in the area. Make sure you budget in a bottle or two!
