I learned about the 'Cured' from the fair at the north west in spokane. Today 12/14/14 , decided to go to the main store in Leavenworth.. its was amazing, what spoilt my entire experience was while sampling the very tasteful veritiey I encountered a VERY RUDE employee. I was so annoyed and disappointed that I took my entire party elsewhere. Customer service should be upheld esspecially in busy times.

Awesome selection of house smoked meats and cheeses. They offer free samples. Prices are a little high but worth it for a great smoked meats or cheeses

Cured has amazing word of mouth reviews, so when my family stepped foot into the shop to find so many delicious samples we were not surprised! With so much great stuff to choose from it sure made our decision on what to buy very difficult! However the Buckboard Bacon is not to be missed, I dare you to try a sample and not buy some! We also bought some wonderful Cabot (cheese) as well that is smoked perfectly (not too smokey) in house.

When we arrived in Leavenworth on a Tuesday afternoon, we found parking on Front Street right across from Cured, a small sausage shop. So, the first thing we did is go inside to get a snack.Cured is a small store that sells many types of sausage, both pre-packaged links as well as larger sausage that is sliced to order. They've also got cheese, bread, crackers, and their own brand of pickled beans, corn, and other vegetables in jars.My girlfriend wound up buying some Landjäger, small links made of beef and pork. Landjäger is a semi-dried smoked "hunter's" sausage, perfect for snacking on while hiking, or walking the streets of Leavenworth as we did. The Landjäger is the only thing we bought there, but it was the real deal, the sausage of my people. Delicious.
