This venue is remarkable! The ornate design of this building is worth the visit alone. Built during another era it retains some of the dignity and grace of a bygone day. The staff (largely volunteers) are friendly and cheerful and make you feel both welcome and comfortable. We have come down from Langley BC for several performances this season and, as can be expected some are to our personal liking more than others, but in every instance we have been treated exceptionally well. This was our thrid trip this seaon and we will be back again before the end of February. Combine this with an early supper at Anthony's Seafood down by the harbour and your in for a real treat. If you need a place to stay try the Best Western Lakeway - its close by, is of good quality and has good service. Thank you to all your volunteers and to those sponsors and patrons who keep this facility operating. You should be VERY proud of the job you have done and continue to do.Bob Dolman

Great acoustics and classic old theater with the traditional one-person ticket cashier; saw a live symphony orchestra performance

I love every show we go to at the Mt Baker Theater. The venue is beyond compare. The shows are well picked. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

We just attended a Joan Baez concert at the Mt. Baker Theatre...it was FABULOUS!!! Joan's music and presence on stage was amazing!! BUT without the acoustic design of theatre it would have been just "okay"!! I love this theatre and the interior is beyond beautiful...built in the 1920's it still retains that "old style" beauty. The acoustics are amazing...the lighting team was great...and with it only being 1500 seats it's a very intimate space. I recommend people to go see any production in this space...it is worth it!!!

This is a wonderful theatre, beautifully maintained and a real art-deco period piece. Comfortable seating with good views from the balcony. Friendly and helpful staff.

As a season ticket holder we get top performers and after the shows we are home within a half an hour. No need to travel for 2 hours to Seattle and hunt for parking. Last year we had Steve Martin plus wonderful shows. This year we have Joan Baez ,Capitol Steps, Mama Mia etc. This great Theatre was built in 1927 and the community has saved it for this generation to enjoy.

The Mt. Baker theatre is a work of art and well worth a visit to se the old fashioned opulent interior. However, we attended a play in the adjacent Walton theatre - The Last of the Red Hot Lovers by Neil Simon. The play was excellently acted and we were pleasantly surprised by the very high quality of this summer repertory theatre. It was a delightful evening and well worth the $25 admission.

We have attended quite a few shows, both musical and drama at the Mt. Baker Theatre and have enjoyed each of them and we also enjoy the theatre surroundings.

Beautiful venue that seats about 1500 people. It felt intimate yet large enough to give you space. Good views from every seat. Besides the historic moulding and grand chandeliers, MBT is actually a not-for-profit organization. This is a great concept since as British Columbians, we pay WAY too much for quality shows. MBT has affordable tickets. TIP: come early to find parking and stay in Ferndale if you want affordable lodging

Don't miss out on the opportunity to attend a concert or play at this great venue in downtown Bellingham! Acoustics are great and there's not a bad seat in the house. Check out their schedule! Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance to the theater so make it a great evening!

This has got to be the best theatre in the northwest, beautiful interior, great acoustics, and they have really been putting on some great programs!

Preserved and restored, this centerpiece of Bellingham features fantastic shows from off Broadway to local events. Nice meeting rooms and central location. Parking is the only drawback so locals ditch the car and walk.

No matter what you're seeing here, the intimacy will always impress, along with their new sound system.

To start with this old restored theater has a great atmosphere. I guess what put it over the top was the play we went to see "39 Steps" . It was very well done and I would recommend it to anyone who has a chance to go, if it runs again in the future.
