This is the second time to visit this wonderful Museum, I recommend it to all ages, and if you have kids don't forget to go upstairs. They also have a hands on play area with trains for the kiddies. You can donate..

The historic train museum is under renovation at present but when it was open it is really nice.I had never been on a train and this train makes you feel like you are actually on a train.The train had an feel of the earlier time. I like the dinnig car with the eating area formally set-up. This is anice place for family to enjoy and learn a little about the history.

We went to greenwood particularly to see the trains at the museum and it was closed and looked like it had been for some time, despite an open flag hanging outside and the visitor info in the town giving us a brochure for it. Don't waist your time going or call before hand.

What a great free way to share greenwood and train history! The trains are undergoing renovations to restore all train cars. You can even buy a seat on the trains! They offer several events a year for children and scouts

This museum is such a surprise for a town like Greenwood. The exhibits are fascinating and well done. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and we love the computerized map of downtown Greenwood in the 1920's. Good work, Greenwood!

I took my Grandson who loves trains. He loved it. We walked through every car. He asked a lot of questions and thank goodness I had most of the answers.
