The River Golf Club is in the top three maintained courses for the area, for semi-private venues. A great layout, challenging but fair course, and the greens may be the best in the Augusta area. The dining room has an excellent menu, and the food is outstanding. Price very reasonable also. Service is dicey, and the staff is not very friendly - at times just plain rude.

The course is a very fair layout that is always in great condition! A few very difficult holes, but most are fair and have a variety of tee boxes to choose from. This is absolutely my favorite course in the Augusta area! Rates are very fair for the quality and condition of the course!

Very good value and course was in great shape! Greens were fast and fairways over seeded with rye grass! I could play here every day!

Love all the meals, especially Sunday lunch. We eat there almost every Sunday after church. They always have several specials that are not on the menu.

I have been a member at the River Club for six years now. The staff are wonderful. Food and beverage service is great and prices are very reasonable. We typically have Sunday lunch there and they have different specials each week. The course is just in great shape. The grounds crew does a wonderful job keeping it in shape. There have been drainage improvements over the last few years which have really made a difference; only days after the wettest June in history, we were back to 90 degree rule with carts. The cottages are spacious and great places to rent for functions. All in all, I have been extremely pleased with the Club.

This course is one of the best maintained facilities in the CSRA that is available for the mainstream public to play. Rates are reasonable, and the course is challenging, yet fair for anyone to play. Greens are outstanding, and very consistent. Water comes into play on many holes, and the location is very pleasing. The grille has outstanding food, and the pro shop has a great selection of apparel. We have always enjoyed playing here. We have played most of the course in the area, and The River Club rates #1 for the condition it is routinely in, price, and the layout of the course.

A very attractive, well kept, always green course.Very challenging with lots of water hazards. Professionally staffed with attentive personnel. Try to food; it's a great place for lunch even if not playing golf where one can sit on the rear deck with a very nice view. This place even has 3 homes sitting near the 18th hole which can be rented.

Course is always in great shape, and it gets a LOT of play. With the exception of Augusta National, it may be the best kept course in the whole area.Grill has good food too.

Beautiful views and course has both a tough back tees and a easier set for the not so great golfer. Pace of play was quick and the course was busy on the day we were there. Also nice breakfast and lunch spot in clubhouse. The course was very well maintained- all the greens were perfect. Nice railroad bridge on Par 4 number 16, but don't get too excited and stay to the left on the fairway to have any shot to green.

Our son love to golf and this is the perfect course. I can sit on the porch and get great pictures while him and daddy put on the putting green. The staff here were very nice and we will to back for sure. It is a beautiful course also.
