This golf course is hard to begin with but the top it off it needs a lot of updating. The location is good being right in Keystone, however if you are looking for something to do I would pass this up because it is outdated and needs some major updating.

Many of the holes are set up to be impossible. Golfing uphill? The carpet is worn and torn in places. The water features appear to be turned off permanently. The Putz N Glo indoor mini golf is a much better option.

Went here since it was free for Palmer Gultch guests- glad we didn't have to pay for it. As others said, the course is in bad shape- many ripes in grass, no where is it level, waterfalls not running. We had to get balls and clubs from the Presidential museum, which was fine until a ball went over the edge of one of the holes- it was a 45 degree angel up. No way we would have been able to retrieve ball had we even seen it. We didn't walk back for another ball- so, then on only 3 people of 4 played. Course was too hard- many high angles and unlevel greens, where balls would roll right back.

It isn't in the greatest shape but it was fun and we did spot some deer near it. Definitely go in the evening when it's shady.

Definitely challenging (no way can anyone par out the course). Several of the holes you have to hit up a steep slope or down a slope. The view is cool because it's built right into the mountain. It isn't any more expensive than any other destination mini-golf.A little tired maybe (torn carpet), but we loved it.

Rips in carpet, mosquito heaven at night. All 4 of us would hit and all the balls would end up in within 5" of each other along the wall on most of the holes.

Great little course where the only flat surface is in the parking lot. The teens loved it as well as we did. The attendee could wrap a smile on her face but that didn't affect my score.

Love this place! I grew up in Custer, SD and we had a group that would routinely make a trip to Keystone just to play this mini golf course. It is challenging for great short gamers, and always a blast to play. I have never had a bad experience with Holy Terror, and I will continue to putt there.

We wanted to play some miniature golf on our trip and saw some advertisements for Holy Terror. However, I had read in a few Trip Advisor reviews that the attendant was not very nice and the course was not kept up very well. THEY WERE ALL CORRECT. The Attendant was an older man, very adversarial, and picked the clubs for you and would not entertain your opinion, then he started you on whatever hole he wanted based on the people already playing (he started up on hole 6, told us to skip 18, play 1-5, then come back to 18). Confusing. Then as we were playing, there was debris, leaves and rips in the carpet, making an already difficult course almost impossible. The only good thing that came out of this experience was that he was able to recommend a place off the beaten path to eat afterward.

A bunch of us went and played this course. We had alot of laughs, and we were having fun. BUT...the course needs some touch ups, is showing wear and tear. Also, it was just greens and a hole, most of the putt putt courses I've been to have had "eye candy" or their theme has been really developed. Not so with this facility.

We went with a extended family which included a number of kids 5-12. It wasn't too bad but some of the holes were very frustrating and nearly impossible. The whole group tried and we all went over ten par and moved on without being able to make the hole. They had no tee pads but that may have been because of off season coming up, and the reason they gave us a discount on the price. Not Great and Not Terrible

This course is built into a hill making every hole very challenging and frustrating for younger children. There was nothing fun about it. I'd try another in town.

We went here one morning only to find it closed during the posted hours that it was supposed to be open. There were golfers on the course, but no attendants. We waited for about 1/2 hour and left. If there was an emergency there could have been a notice somewhere, but there wasn't.

We stopped in here with our 8 and 11 yr olds. It was fun and the kid at the counter was nice. It was pretty much like put-put golf anywhere else you go. Not terribly challenging but no one in our family is that great at it anyway!

We had free passes to go to the Holy Terror mini golf and nine of us went. The attendant was not very friendly. He clearly had no patience for children. He passed out the clubs to each of us and when I asked for a bigger club for my son, he refused and gave us a "lesson" on how to properly putt. Then, even though my 16 year old daughter and I are the same height, he gave her a smaller club. We asked for the bigger club for her and then we were again instructed on how the club is supposed to be short. I am all for being given advice on something I may not be familiar with but this is mini golf and if the customer feels more comfortable with a taller club, I think he should just be given a taller club. He was very rude about the club issue, he was rude when he told us how to putt the ball. Even when we started to play, he said, "Now don't take all night, move it along!" The course itself was a bit challenging because it runs up along side a mountain and we got to see a deer by the woods while we played so that was fun too. I wouldn't go back and pay money for this attraction.
