Beautiful views! Great place to relax and talk with friends and family! Benches are available it would be cool if they added a small wooden swing set for the kids! A must stop when in bath!

Stopped here in this park for a rest and some reflection after our walking tour of Bath. Very pretty and quiet. We were the only ones there. Benches scattered around for sitting. We were surprised to see a sign that said, "no fishing". I wonder why that's not allowed. Would be a great place to take wedding photos.

Looking to rest your feet after undergoing Bath's historical walking tour? You shouldn't miss Bonner's Point. It is a beautiful and utterly peaceful view of the Sound and is a great place to be at any time of day. There are some great benches scattered around the area, so it is quite a convenient place to spend some time-- and though it is a popular spot, I'd be surprised to see it full at any given time. Bath is a small place and one that is not overrun, thankfully, by tourists-- so you might very well have this scenic area to yourself on a sunny day.

We take in the salty air from the Point almost daily. So peaceful and a beautiful location for picnics, weddings and events!

I live just outside of Bath, my brother in law is the town commissioner, my sister is the town commissioner, my other sister has opened a church in Bath, my son-in-law works for the utilities department in the town of Bath, my only daughter and only granddaughter lives in Bath, and my husband is the Utilities Director for the town of Bath. Both my sister's live there now, my husband was born and raised there, I went to high school there, as well as my husband and my daughter...and I could go on and on. I am a local real estate broker in the area. I have visited many town and cities, and I don't know any spot that is as beautiful as the views from Bonner's Pointe. I love the area, and it is a perfect place for taking photo's, and for that artist drawing a magnificent art piece of the beautiful waters of Bath Creek. Come visit, and stay...we would welcome you...as that is what Bath is all about...Small time living at it's finest!

A nice place to sit on a bench, in the shade, and look out over the water leading to the Pamlico Sound. Let your mind wonder back to the days when sailing ships were entering the harbour with their goods, and one ship in particular, with a guy named Blackbeard, sailed in and spent time here. This spot would make a great place to picnic...

If you happen to stop in Bath, walk down to the end of the street to Bonner's point. It is such a serene viewing point for looking out onto the water, especially at sunset. There are plenty of benches to sit on and soak up the view! There isn't much else here but thats part of the charm of this lovely small town.Tip: Make use of the restrooms and water fountain at the visitors center before walking the town as there are no facilities or shops along the walking route.

For some reason the Trip Advisor system wouldn't let me review Historic Bath as a whole, so I have chosen Bonner's Point as a way of doing so. Historic Bath is much smaller and quieter than I expected, and all the better for it. There is a visitor centre where they can arrange tours of some of the historic houses, and they also have a small theatre for a film show of the town.We simply took one of the free maps and had a slow stroll, taking in the views from Bonner's Point and wandering past the lovely old houses. There is a cafe here for those requiring sustenance, and a small gift shop. Other than that there isn't much else - how lovely!
