catawba river antique mall

I decided to bring my wife here for her birthday gift. It is a very large factory converted into a antique store. It is mostly just stuff not fine antiques . Prices are from a little high to very high, if you know what things cost and look around you can find a few deals. We got a couple of old nik-naks at a good price.we will be back for sure. It was a nice outing for us senior citizens!

The large building has many individually rented booths of very good quality antiques. I recommend taking a friend and not being in a hurry while you view the items for sale. You are probably going to find just the right gift for anyone.

Excellent ! My family spent several hours combing for treasures. Lots of different items at far prices. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

This antique mall is 67,000 sq. ft. in a 107 year old mill. There were a few cluttered booths but mostly it was wide open with plenty of room to see everything. They offered just about anything you could be looking for. It took us almost 3 hours to see everything since this was our first time here and didn't know the best way to maneuver the huge building. We walked out with a few things that we didn't even know we needed.

We visited this antique mall on a very hot summer day. It was a cool respite from the beating sun, and a BIG walk to cover all the floor space in this rehabilitated textile mill. Almost everything any antiquer is looking for is here - with a slight southern twist, as to be expected. Prices vary from booth to booth, but overall are reasonable. There is no junk; this is not a flea market. There are some craft items created from rescued antiques. The River Café was closed on our visit, but would be a welcome respite for a cold drink or a hot husband/significant other. This antique mall is not recommended for children except sleeping babies. I found Fiestaware colors that are rare and many vintage tablecloths from which to choose. I also collect glassware, and there are many vendors who specialize in certain lines. All in all, a good day to browse and buy!
