I played at the Preserve Golf Course a week ago and I was really nice. The course was wet but there has been tons of rain this winter, so I really can't hold that against them. Greens were in great shape, golf carts were new and the staff was friendly. After the round we had a late lunch in the grill room and the food was outstanding!! I had the Chili and my friend had a cheeseburger. The chili was some of the best I ever had and Paul my friend loved his burger. The had a pretty good beer selection and the staff was AWESOME!!!!!! I will be coming back to visit soon!!

Bring an extra few golf balls. There are many forced carries over wetlands, with some off of downhill, tight lies. If you are off the fairway, this course will eat your lunch. They have cleaned up several areas, seemingly due to competition from their excellent sister course, Chapel Ridge, but still errant shots generally lead to losing your ball and finding several other folks shots. That said, the course is very scenic and well conditioned and has a very diverse set of holes. The greens were good but with our heat and humidity they need to convert over to Bermuda greens - but I am not sure if they will since they will need to shut down for a couple months and take out a ton of trees around the greens to do it.

Excellent Davis Love III course near Jordan Lake. Conditions were very good given heavy recent rains. As a short hitter, I could have used firmer fairways for more roll. Bring lots of golf balls. Fairway-crossing "natural areas" a challenge for the timid. Greens take some getting used to. Bent grass tough on a Floridian used to Bermuda. Don't pick a tee by the scorecard yardage like I did. Some of the crossing hazards forced me to lay up. Could have carried them if I'd played the tees I should have. Very friendly/helpful staff. Priced way below comparable courses I've played. Nice bar and patio for post-round relaxing.

We played this course toward the end of April and found the fairways to be better than other courses we have played in the last couple of weeks. The greens were in very nice condition albeit a bit firm and didn't hold quite as well as I thought they should. The pace of play was very good and we never had any real slowdown for our foursome and didn't come into contact with any marshals during the round. Eddie who met us at the bag drop off was very friendly and helpful. We all agreed we would return to this course.

I received some of the most unsatisfactory service I have ever experienced. This included my guests being yelled at and threatened by the head golf pro, as well as being followed for multiple holes by marshals insisting that they speed up play, when, in fact, they were behind a couple who chose to walk the course and would not allow them to play through. When we brought up these complaints to the head pro, she feigned ignorance and continued to act smarmy and rude for the rest of our outing. Additionally the food we were served after we finished playing was absolutely abysmal. Our meal, which ended up being about $10 per person, included some of the worst food I have ever eaten and was ridiculously overpriced. The hamburgers were terrible, the hot dogs were worse, the buns were stale, and the sides were clearly prepackaged and gross. IF you do play here, I must sincerely recommend not eating at the clubhouse. That being said, I thought that the Preserve at Jordan Lake was a beautiful golf course, the holes were challenging, yet fun, and the course was well maintained. I would advocate playing there, if the staff and service wasn't so awful.

It is so beautiful and serene! I could sit for a couple hours and just watch everything going on around me. The wild life, people, kids having fun. Great place to spend some time.

Spacious, custom homes at excellent prices. Fun golf course. Next door to Lake Jordan for boating and fishing. Neighborhood has many amenities.

Beautiful and challenging golf course. Top 5 public courses for the area for sure. The layout is fantastic. Greens are very nice but very slow. If they were to improve the speeds of the greens it would be 4th best for the RTP.

I have been to this course twice, but I also will not be going back. The course is very nice and has many interesting holes. The great e-coupon was very attractive and we really enjoyed the course itself. It was amazing to me how unpleasant and rude the golf shop staff acted during my two encounters with them. The ranger was fine and the bar tender was pleasant, but the golf shop staff needs to get a clue about customer service.

I've been to this course twice, but I will not be going back. The course is nice and interesting but both times the staff pretty much ruined the round early. The first time, the lady in the clubhouse was grumpy. Then the marshal was driving around and constantly harassing us to play faster, but we were stuck waiting on the group in front of us. They were waiting on the group in front of them, etc. On the second visit, I showed up 20 minutes before our tee time and the starter insisted we tee off immediately because the group in front of us didn't show. I tried 3 times to just take a few practice putts so I didn't have to start cold, but he got quite rude about it. We still had a marshal driving around asking us to play faster, but we were maintaining their recommended pace.My experience with this course is that they pack people in too tight with tee times and make the round not as enjoyable. The staff could probably use some customer service lessons as well.Sorry, there are plenty of other nice courses in the area.

The specials are really good and I always use their e-coupons. It's a very good deal and excellent course for my skill level, just challenging me in all the right ways.

High handicap golfers may not like this course the first time they play it. It does have some very challenging holes that can raise your score in a heart beat. Play the course a couple of times with a member to learn course management here. It will grow on you. I play this course multiple times a week.

This course is normally in great shape and I enjoy playing here on a some what regular basis. It is challenging enough to visit often and the staff is friendly. Woods can be thick at times so make sure to hit them straight.

Played in a small tournament in December - very cold (it snowed a little)! The course is very hilly and pretty tight in spots - great clubhouse and nice neighborhood. Would recomend it in the summer though.

The course is pretty nice, some very nice holes. However, this could be the most pretentious place I have ever been. The marshals are on a power trip you wouldn't believe. Good challenging course to play, not a place you want to go if you are trying to have a relaxing day with friends.
