We went there for the first time, for there Halloween Spooktacular. I know I'm writing this review at the end of February. But I finally had a chance. QIt is so much closer to mcgees crossroads then I thought. (Which is not far from the highway) The city of coats is completely misleading. I was so thrilled that it was so much closer. And the Type of animals was so impressive. I can't remember because it was a while ago. But seriously worth the trip

Don't be fooled by their professional appearing website - this is not a zoo. It's someone's house with lots of animals in cages on their property. We drove a half hour on one of our last weekends as a family of 3 before baby was born for some family fun. When we arrived there was a large birthday party going on (35-45 people) and no one greeted us. Finally about 5 minutes after the tour was supposed to start a lady comes out of the house. I approach here and let her know we were there for the tour so as not to be confused with the party. She responded she would combine us with the party and we would get started shortly. Mind you the party was still eating cake. Touring someone's yard with 35-45 other people was not quite what I had in mind and we left promptly very disappointed. Don't waste your time! We will be trying Aloha Zoo instead.
