Super convenient. Less than 1/2 mile off I-77. Great family run winery with a super selection of wines and sauces to try. Don't pass this winery up you won't be disappointed.

and a family member did a great job sharing the history and wine tasting with us....we bought a little of everything and have faith that they will continue to enjoy success.

An idyllic setting awaits you here at LG; a wonderful pouring staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. It was close to closing so we bought our mixed case and some cheese and sat on the veranda contemplating another type of lifestyle. If you have time for only one vineyard, make it LG--you won't be disappointed!

On NC wine trips I don't buy tons, because there are a lot of sweet and non-wine wines. But Laurel Gray has some decent wines, and I always get a bottle. This time we saw them at the Grape festival, but it is one of the wineries worth the trip.

On a road trip we were looking for something to break up a long drive. We saw that there were a few wineries in this area of North Carolina. Laurel Gray was our choice since it is not far off the interstate. We tasted about a half dozen of their wines. The tasting included the wine glass in the price. We bought two bottles based on our tasting. The grounds are well kept and you could have a picnic there if you wished. They even gave us directions to an Amish store that is located a few miles away. The winery purchases their bread from that store.

Laurel Gray Winery is a very short geographical distance from Raffaldini Vineyards but it is truly a world apart. Where Raffaldini is a sprawling big-operation establishment, Laurel Gray is a rather small family-owned winery where everything is family run and very personal. The winery itself and the grounds around it are beautifully maintained and, had the weather been less cool and breezy, would have been very inviting. The Laurel Gray wines available were surprisingly good, we thought -- especially (according to my wife) the Reserve Barrel Fermented Chardonnay and (for me) the Estate Reserve Merlot. We very much enjoyed our short visit to Laurel Gray Winery and we will definitely be returning as weather permits.

This was my third visit to Laurel Gray. I joined the wine club in June 2014. They are family oriented and treat returning visitors as part of their extended "wine" family. We always feel welcome when we walk in the door. The gift shop has a nice selection of wine accessories. Highly recommend trying the vinaigrette.

Another one of the wineries in the Swan Creek AVA. You can visit all the wineries in this AVA in an afternoon. We went here ona weekday, and they were very busy and their tasting room is kind of small, but they were moving people in and out quickly, We sat on the porch and waited for our turn and it was very pleasant. Their wines are quite good and we ended up with several bottles.

We did a big winery trip and were pleased with the atmosphere of this one. Great wines and nice outdoor seating area. Music and brick oven pizza were being served while we were there for Labor day. They have this only on special occasions and the place was packed. Good variety of wines.

cute vineyard. many wines in the tasting. Great deal for the price. People are very pleasant. Visit the barn in the back for the Yadkin Valley Wine Company. The fruit wines are there. Very good.

The winery and the quality of its product aren't worth going out of your way for. It's okay, but nothing special.

We have been to this winery several times over the past 8 years. This was one of our favorites. One of the owners was working in the tasting room today. She seemed very disinterested that we were even there, turning over our tasting to someone else so she could go make labels. I felt that she could care less if we were there or a couple that came in while we were tasting. We payed for our tasting and did not not buy wine even though there were wines we would have liked. All of the other wineries we went to were very hospitable. Hopefully she was having a bad day and did not treat other visitors the same way. We have sent many people there with rave reviews. Now, I don't know if we will even bother to go back.

This is our favorite winery in this region. This is a private business and they are not in the business to make money but to bring a great product to the market. The owners are fantastic and the location is comfortable. We like to bring a picnic lunch, buy a bottle and relax on the property.

Laurel Gray had been recommended by someone who had visited last year. The wines were wonderful and the owner & her husband were gracious and informative. We had a wonderful experience.

When visiting the area, this is a must stop! Everyone that works the tasting room is very friendly, and helpful. The grounds are very pretty, any time of year. I always enjoy a stop at Laurel Gray!
