Awesome place to go for your fresh vegetables, fruit, fresh flowers and seedlings. They also have fresh baked goods, jellies, jams, pickled items. It is located on the square in downtown Hickory. It is a shaded area which makes it a pleasant experience. The have live music with hotdog and popcorn stands as well. Most of the vegetables and fruit are grown locally. They do have a few that are brought in from South Carolina (peaches) andFlorida (oranges). Vendors are friendly and prices are fair.

The Hickory farmers market has a great assortment of locally grown food honey and flowers! The farmers are there to talk with you, educate you, and answer any questions you may have. Buy your vegetables from the farmers you know!

This is a nice farmers market and a fun thing to do. Wish is was larger and was surprised that it didn't have more vendors given the size of the metro area. What was there, however, was wonderful. Fresh produce, jellies, jams, baked goods, etc. Lots of crafts, pottery and some art. We enjoyed our visit!

Went to the farmers market last Saturday to just take a look. I had been to the market during the week but did not seem to find much selection. The Saturday market was quite the opposite. It was wonderful. Purchased fresh heirloom tomatoes, two different kinds of greens and fresh flowers. Prices were excellent. Definitely will be going regularly on Saturdays.

While in Hickory, we visited the Saturday Farmer's Market. A large variety of local fresh fruits and vegetables, plants and crafts. A beautiful location in Hickory with shops and restaurants along the streets. Friendly people who visited with us, telling stories of local interests. Places to sit and chat with friends, places for children to play. Very busy but you'll enjoy.
