If you have just an hour or two, come to the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. This is a work in progress and what a job they have done so far! After you stroll around the gardens, take time to shop in their lovely little store.

The fist time I stopped in was in the Wi ter and there was nothing. Went in to see the gift shop. Went in and the door was unlocked but no one was there. Went back in June and loved it. There seemed ti be more flowers and there was staff. Will be going again next year

As I walked around the botanical gardens, my senses were calmed. So many incredible varieties of beautiful flora and fauna to enjoy. I can envision a very special event here, very soon.

We needed a place to hold a group of 100 people, so we chose the Botanical Gardens. The group area, offered internet and access to the video system that allowed for everyone to view a screen. On break we could walk along the gardens which were wonderful. The facility was clean and well cared for. It is worth a visit to just walk along the gardens.

My Mom and I had a very pleasant and enjoyable visit to the botanical garden. The garden is in development and will be a great place to visit over time to see the transformation of the open spaces. The staff is very friendly. They already have a good foundation with the garden with many species of varied plants. There is also a nice gift shop with local items of distinction. This is a wonderful place and how generous that the Ciener family has made this possible. Go and enjoy!

The Botanical Garden has been in existence for less than 5 years, but it has quickly become a place to go. Especially during tulip season! I love to go with my camera... the flowers and butterflies are very photogenic. Plan to visit other attractions, restaurants, shops or the park in downtown Kernersville. Perfect for weddings and other formal events.

I have visited the Gardens several times over the past year or so and every time I come away more and more impressed with the variety of plants. On our last visit we were unable to tour the area around the Gift Shop/Offices as a future bride was having photos taken. We also had an unfortunate encounter with someone working in the Gardens. One member of our party was smoking on the edge of the parking lot and the worker rudely ordered him to put out his cigarette. There were "No Smoking" signs but they were at ground level, not eye level. It might be worthwhile to erect a few signs at eye level to save other visitors from irate volunteers.

My husband & I visited the Gardens last weekend and thought it was absolutely beautiful! This was our first visit to the Gardens and did not know that the main building would not be open. It is only open Monday-Friday 9-5 so we missed the opportunity to go inside the main building. There was one area of the grounds that was being prepared for an afternoon wedding with a decorated, pink and white arch and tables were being set up around the arch. It would be a perfect setting for a wedding and we could see a bride "walking down the corridor" beside the plant areas. We took a lot of photos of the Garden, too many to keep track of the names of the plants but it was very worthwhile to visit and stroll around the entire complex and see where the future Amphitheater and Japanese Gardens will be built. I have shared my photos with this review but was unable to make a note of the names of each plant that we enjoyed seeing that day!

I stopped at Ciener just as it was beginning to sprinkle rain, but I got to visit the absolutely breathtaking bulb garden. There were tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths in a vibrant array of colors, and it was so pleasant to break up my drive by walking amongst them.A moderate rain was beginning to fall, but fortunately, there's a lovely little gift shop to duck into. The lady on duty was very pleasant and friendly, and I enjoyed browsing the unusual gift items for sale there. Much of the garden is under construction, but what is there is well worth a visit. Please don't avoid stopping there just because it's small...it's beautiful and peaceful.

We visited the gardens for a wedding the past weekend. The grounds are nice but small and still very underdeveloped at this time. Their web site and brochure claim 7 acres but only 2 are currently developed at this time. Don't go here expecting to spend the day...more like 15 to 30 minutes tops.

If you love photographing flowers, you can come by this place, however, for someone used to seeing botanical garden-size attractions, then you'll be disappointed. Still, come with a camera just before the sun is about to set, around March to June, and you'll probably be in for a surprise :)

I stumbled upon this attraction while visiting my elderly mother. It was a very beautiful and tranquil getaway to clear my mind. It's nicely maintained and easily accessible.

The flowers here in the summer are so pretty. Everyone should come here and take a stroll. I can not wait till they add on! Very well maintained. Also easy for anyone to get around.

My daughter was married @ the gardens this past weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and Angie, event planner, was a gem. It was wonderful to have the wedding on the terrace, then move into the banquet hall for the reception. Angie's love & passion for her job was most evident and she helped me relax as I knew everything was in her very capable hands. Several people during the reception asked me about planning events here, so I know others saw the beauty in the gardens as well. Thanks to all for making the day perfect!
