southern charm winery

We created our own wine trails with one east and one west of Charlotte, NC and this was the first one on the west side and our favorite! We were served by the owner Dwight who was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We also met Robin who was very adept at serving and check-out. Dwight is a local business owner of an auto shop and well known around town with a great reputation. The wines here were great and we purchased several bottles to take home. It all depends on your taste but there was wine to satisfy both the dry and the sweet in our party. There was also many items in the gift area that brought smiles to our faces. Location was right in the middle of downtown Lincolnton and we would not have found and enjoyed this quaint little town had it not been for the Southern Charm Winery.

Our group of seven women thoroughly enjoyed this wine tasting. Dwight was fun, knowledgeable, and told us how to use the wines in recipes. We really liked the wines we tasted and also enjoyed the sample of the trifle Dwight had made which included one of the wines. I highly recommend this winery.

My in-laws and I did a wine tasting with Southern Charm. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and their wine is fantastic. My favorite is the Sunset Red which is a white cherry blend.
