its a municipal course with green fees that are overpriced for the quality. also your clientele here can be a little rough with groups of 6 to 8 playing together.

I've been playing golf for a lot of years. I've never been so shocked at a price for a bucket of practice balls $13 for 120 balls? Remember it cost about $15 to play nine holes around here! The driving range looks like a dirty field and in the Teebox area is 85% sand instead of grass. My suggestion to anyone that wants to hit golf balls go to mooresville municipal golf course for five dollars a bucket!

It was March and we were heading north to the snows of New York. I found the course on Google maps and called, on a nice Sunday afternoon we got a tee time in 90 minutes. Hot dog at the snack bar and we were ready. The pro put us out with a nice father/son team, so they could show us the way around. They were very good and very helpful. The course had been flooded a week or so before , there was a lot of casual water and the greens were not great but the course was interesting. $20 with cart- very reasonable. Staff very friendly. While we were getting our carts, witnessed a hole in one on 9th.

This course gets a lot of play so its not in perfect shape. Fun and challenging and good for beginners as well. Price is typical for public courses. Golf carts are good. Decent practice green.

I usually play this course when i return to Charlotte...usually every three months or so. My Son and Grandson really like this course so it is where we go most often. It is a municipal course. My last visit was in September. The course has been upgraded and lengthened. The greens were in especially good shape. There are many challenging holes. For me, Number 10 is the most challenging. You must hit long enogh up a steep hill to be able to reach the dogleg right for your second shot. It takes a big hit!The snack bar on the course is fine. The customer service is better than usual for a municipal course. The price is very right!

Great little town owned course. I'm a beginner and just learning and you don't feel like you're "out of place" here. Great mix of beginners and experienced golfers. Good prices, nice course and a nice place to spend a day with a friend or family.

My daughter and I played here on a Friday midday. Green fees were reasonable including the cart. The course layout is challenging, but playable. A lot of up and down with side hill lies that will test your golfing skills. The pace of play was a little slow, as waited several minutes between shots prior to some groups stoping at the turn. Greens were ok, decent speed and would hold a well struck shot. Will play this course again to see if better scores are possible.
