A one time visit is plenty. A fancy warehouse for memorabilia of the Andy Griffeth Show. I have no reason to return as the museum never really changes.

Lovely museum and arts center. Also a wonderful bronze statue of him with Ron Howard. A few blocks from the Main street shops and restaurants. Fun history and tv items. Also covers all he did for his hometown.

The museum is small and didn't hold the attention too long for my 3,6 and 8 year old who love watching Andy Griffith but meeting Betty Lynn was wonderful and the kids were tickled pink which is why I gave it 5 stars, otherwise the actual museum would be 3 stars for what you actually get to see. She was so gracious and took time with everyone and told stories. It was a great experience.

We love the Andy Griffith Show and had been wanting to go to the area for a while. We went to The Andy Griffith Museum, and saw his homeplace, as well as the main street Mt.Airy (which has some Mayberry scenery included). It was $6.00 each plus tax to go through the museum. It was quaint, and I learned more about Andy than I knew before. The Eng and Chang Bunker (Siamese Twins) museum (separate room in museum, included w/ admission price) was weird and interesting!! I never knew the story of these twins that called Mt Airy home. It was worth going to! Also, just about 15-20 min away from dntwn Mt Airy is Pilot Mtn State Park, which was cool ; And the world's largest open face granite quarry (which you can see from an observation area). These were both FREE (We love free stuff) -and they were neat to visit.

Great way to spend an hour or two. It's amazing how much memorabilia has been preserved. Nice to see original costumes and sets. Brings characters back to life!

We recently visited with our young adult children. All of us grew up watching the Andy Griffith show and the museum was a nice walk down memory lane. The photographs were very interesting and it was nice to see Andy's desk from the Sheriff's office. Everyone was friendly and we also enjoyed our walking tour of downtown "Mayberry". We look forward to a return visit.

Lots of photos of Andy Griffith & memorabilia. Lots of Mayberry stuff. Cute photo opportunities in the lobby. It was only $3 to get in, & worth that, but very small. The Siamese Twin exhibit there was interesting.

The museum is a must see for any Andy Griffith fan. Although small, this place offers a lot of information and memorabilia.

We had a nice time strolling through the exhibits while listening to clips of the Andy Griffith Show and interviews... very fun and informative. The museum grounds are nice, too. We ate lunch on the picnic tables outside, and took photos with the statue of Andy and Opie. This place is worth a visit.

If you are an Andy Griffith fan this place shouldn't be missed if you are in the area. Lots of memorabilia presented in a folksy manner. Fun memories for older folks who enjoyed Andy, Aunt Bea, Barney, Opie, Floyd, Betty Lou, and Helen! Enjoyed the town of Mount Airy and a drive by to see Andy's house.

The folks at the Museum what the king of folks you think of in Mayberry. The museum is small and you are not allowed to take pictures inside but it's still worth the time to see it. Allow 30 minutes to 1 hour.

My husband is an avid Andy Griffith fan. Everything in the museum brought back great memories of all the old shows. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all step back in time to a much simpler lifestyle as they had in Mayberry? A must see for the Andy Griffith fan.
