aquaventure watercraft rentals

This place was not too hard to find, it is on the west side of the lake which is less developed and a ways from the main roads so it is a bit harder to get to but that is kind of a good thing - I was glad it was far removed from the suburban sprawl of the east side of the lake. Prices were reasonable and the lake in late October was a bit chilly but mostly deserted making for great kayaking without a lot of power boats. The rental selection for kayaks was varied. I was originally sent out on this thing that was like a cross between a kayak and a bathtub - I was a wide and short "sit on" thing with no back support that took a lot of effort to move through the water. I returned after 40 minutes ready to quit since it was so hard moving this boat and my back was hurting. The person working there then offered me one of the good kayaks with a proper hull and back rest! I spent the rest of the rental time enjoying the water in my proper kayak. I was able to work up an appetite for yummy southern bbq at Boss Hog BBQ north up the road!
