Have visited Linda and Jim Dalton's studio many time. The drive there is worth getting off the main road and enjoying the back roads of NC. Have purchased her plates as gifts and received them from friends. What is nice about Linda is her ability to create something new and try new colors. Enjoy talking with Linda about her work and if you have a chance to see her at the wheel it is worth the trip. The setting of their studio is beautiful. Do call and visit. They are often home. Jim and Linda are typical of the potters in NC who are friendly and sharing.

We were fortunate enough to find out about Linda Dalton Pottery a couple of years ago when they were part of a local festival. It is worth a trip to their studio to see the things that this local potter has created. I fell in love with her whimsical tea pot and was very surprised when my husband purchased it for me. Since then we have been back several times and bought both Christmas and birthday gifts. She has lovely horsehair pottery as well as more traditional. Her colors are very pleasing from the earth tones to blue and green. They are very willing to make custom tiles or other pieces for your enjoyment. A special place to visit in the Sandhills.
