Good music venue, not too large, but with space for dancing. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Spaceship Days is an excellent band with a lot of energy.

Came to Durham specifically to see a band i love who was playing at this hall. Worst sound i've heard from them..very garbled/muffled sounding - not just me..others familiar with the band agreed. Perhaps i am out of age band of target demographic..but while they had a great selection of beers..they had just Red Wine and White Wine..(and the red wine gave me a wicked headache). All in all a lovely evening, but I wouldn't make a point of seeing anything there.

I visited Motorco on a Monday night while visiting Durham.....I had only one night in town and wanted to do something fun and this place is the best! Parts and Labor is a unique, casual eating place next to and part of Motorco. The whole building is in an area that is artsy and full of great dining choices. On Monday nights the Durham PopUpChorus is held there....everyone and anyone who likes to sing participates when they can make it (even out of towner's like me!) So I had a tasty meal at Parts and Labor, a glass of wine and followed that up with a few hours of fun and making new friends singing songs in Motorco, which are practiced and recorded and posted on YouTube! So check out Motorco online, and the PopUpChorus on Youtube for more info. I seek out activities and places to go that are out of the ordinary, lot's of fun and this place fits the bill. All ages, all types....an eclectic mix of all in a friendly environment. Top shelf fun!

Had great time here enjoying the Bavarian band and dancers while eating wurst on pretzel rolls.Fun for all ages. Great beer for the big folks and joined the crowd in singing along with the German music.

Global street food on a budget, but not skimping on flavor with friendly staff and live music and outdoor seating all make for a great time whether it's a Friday night or Sat/Sun football days. If I lived in Durham, this place would take a lot of my free time.

I only had dinner at Motorco. The place looks great, has a nice atmosphere, both in and outside. They have many different food options. Even vegetarian options. I took the falafel on pita. It tasted great! I definitely go back here again for more food, drinks and music!

This converted garage offers a good venue for live music with very reasonable entrance fees.Bar prices are fair and it is near several very reasonably priced restaurants so you can eat and then go listen to music late into the night.A place for the young where the old don't feel out of place. We went to hear a cuban band and EVERYONE was up and dancing!!!

After having lunch across the street at The Pit, we met with friends here to play cornhole and to try some beers we have never had. I tried the Heavy Seas Marzen that was cold and tasty. I didn't win at cornhole.

Went to their "Wear your best yacht wear" themed New Year's Eve party last year and had tons of fun. Great live music, good drinks, fun atmosphere - even fireworks. What's not to love?

The Korean Food Truck that pulls up to the outside of the bar during events offers some of the most creative and tasty truck food ever offered. I had the rib meat buffalo Quesadilla. It was awesome and everyone I was with said their food was great as well. The sweet potato French Fries with Cinnamon and salt were better than sex, and sex is pretty good most of the time. OK, other than that night when I drank to much and fell off the kitchen table.The Bloody Mary at Motorco is a work of Art, with a homemade mix that is spicy and sumptuous, and although adding bacon and okra to a drink might seem excessive, it ends up being like a meal.Motorco has great music. We saw the areas best Bluegrass Band, the Rye Mountain Boys from Raleigh, NC. They are incredible.Motorco is a great place to have a big time and not go broke doing it. Extra cool.
