badlands off road park

my wife and I visited this venure with our jeep club and were not dissapointed. The park is located in part of an old quarry and consists of over 1000 acres! Trails take you through brush, trees, creeks, mud pits and sand dunes. There are so mant trails to run that we did noy get a chance to run them all. Park has restrooms, showers, concession stand and store. They also have camping adjacent to the park and have a few cabins that can be rented. They also offer an air hose to pump up your tires vand the campground next door offers a pressured hose to wash off your vehicle for a small fee. Looking forward to a return trip.

Well, we are kind of new to the off road vehicle entertainment ( if i may say so ).In Illinois theres not so many trails, so we just go anywhere we can find . So far been to 4 different places, and this one is just amazing !!! All kinds of trails in ONE place !!we so enjoyed the sand dunes and tubing !!!We sure will be back here!And if you have a possibility to drive off road - just go there and you will have a blast !

My title says it all! We've been riding here for several years. There are many trails for all skill levels. Dirt, sand, mud, rocks. There's plenty of flat ground for speed. Tons of hills to climb. Dunes, woods, creeks. There's easy ride areas & places that are more challenging. Motorcycles, 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers, jeeps, trucks and special built offroad vehicles. They're all here. Everyone is there to have a good time. Everybody seems to look out for other riders, stopping to make sure you're ok if you are beside the trail (or over a hill). The team there, at the check in desk are very friendly & helpful. There's lots of off road gear, clothing, helmets, gloves & goggles if you need something. There's even oil, spark plugs & fix it stuff for your machine. The food stand is great if you're hungry or thirsty. There's camping & cabin rentals too. Showers are also available. There's always special events going on and most don't interfere with riding. This is a GREAT place for friends & family!

If you have an ATV, dirt bike, jeep or any off road vehicle you can have a blast here!! It took me a while to get use to riding in sand, so I liked to do the trails in the woods in the beginning, now I love it all!! We've been riding here for three seasons and we camp at Attica Campground so we can ride in from the campground. We have a blast as a family riding here and love to visit often!! Give it a try, we use to ride other places now this is our favorite, because you can ride in the rain without killing yourself!!
