This is a small but big enough water park with 4 big slides and a wave pool. very inexpensive and very clean. Never seems to be overcrowded either. Good family or friends summertime fun!

There are only four slides and a wave pool but the kids loved it! For the price to get in only being 8.00 - it was an awesome way to spend a hot afternoon in Louisville with kids!

Atlantis is an older small waterpark just a few minutes from Louisville. There are four large water slides, a kiddie area and a wave pool. Admission is $8 during weekdays and $10 on weekends. They offer a large covered picnic area outside the park to eat. So pack a cooler and picnic. Food and drink inside the park is expensive for what they offer. Also, take money for a locker. All in all it is a great place for a family outing.

Took my 2 young children ages 21mths and 3 also my 2 younger sisters ages 10 & 12, and $10 a pc is quite over priced. first place we headed to was the tube rental, the rude disrespectful and unhelpful young man that ran the tube rental was the most inconsiderate person to have working at a family facility. Pop machines were over priced and barely worked. Lifeguards picked and choose who they would blow their whistles at, ppl breaking the same rules as others who had clearly just bn alerted they were breaking rules. Think maybe they could use some customer service skills and some good ol manners.

This is your typical small town water park (which is odd since it is literally one exit away from the large city of Louisville, KY...). There is a wave pool and a few water slides. I traveled here with the kids I was nannying for the summer and we had a blast but there are a few things to note. This is a true concrete paradise. There is almost no grass here at all so you might want to bring some water shoes so your feet don't get burned walking around. The only shaded areas in the park are the smoker's pavilions. Many in my party being fair skinned we decided to sit in the smoke under the covered areas as to not get sunburned. The food is overpriced, but what do you expect from any water park? Overall it is a good time, just don't expect too much. I would recommend it to anyone with kids.

This has got to be the best kept secret in waterparks. Small yet has everything one needs. Go place to go just to set back relax and take in the sun.

Went here on the Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend which was also opening weekend. Got there shortly after opening and practically had the place to ourselves! The wave pool was clean and super fun. It was on the smaller side but never got too crowded, even as the day went on. The changing room/bathroom in the front was clean. The slides were plenty fun, hardly any wait. It seemed like most people left their stuff on their chairs but we rented a locker and for $2 ($5 up front, $3 back when you return the key) I would say it was worth it. We did leave towels on our chairs, no problem. But, it wasn't very crowded. We don't have any kids, but the kiddie area looked nice. Food seemed to be priced relatively cheap for a park. For the price, it was a fun day out! Would go again.

Atlantis is run rampant with unattended children and teens running around, trying to sneak in alcohol, and tearing up the water park. The park employees do their best to handle the crowds of kids, but it is not a place I would go back to any time soon.

This place is a great little get away for those looking for a nice place to spend an afternoon away from the crowds most folks are used to with the "huge" water parks. This is a little hidden gem of a place in my opinion. There are only 4 slides and all lines start at the same place for all slides...and it can get a little congested because of that but it is not bad at all. We visited on a Sunday and the lines were well...calling them lines is a real stretch. The park is very clean and well kept. The wave pool is very relaxing to just cool off in.For the price for what you get it is a great little get away for a day or just a few hours.Tubes are provided on the slides but if you want to float on one in the wave pool you can rent one. If you want a double tube for the slides you'll have to rent that as well. Tube rentals are $2.75 for a single tube and $3.75 for a double so they are reasonably priced.Lockers will cost you $5 to rent but you get $3 back when you bring the key back...so the locker costs you $2.Overall we were impressed with this park. It is a nice get away and very well kept up.It is not a huge park with lots of slides and rides...if that's what you are looking for...look elsewhere. But what appealed to us was that it is not one of those huge parks and for $10 on the weekend...how can you complain.I know some of the reviews mentioned some negatives...but again...for $10 on weekends and $8 during the week I think you get a very good value and it is a very good park.We camped near by at the Charlestown State Park and it is about a 25 minute drive.Nicely located near Louisville.Overall we'd come back again and recommend this place to friends coming down to this part of the state.

Great value at $8. Spent the day lounging, relaxing in the wave pool, and riding slides. I really enjoyed the day.

Atlantis Waterpark offers just the right blend of relaxation and adventure. With a myriad of waterslides in all shapes and sizes, you will be slipping and sliding for hours. Also boasting a large wave pool, ride the waves to your heart's content, or even relax on the edge of the water to work on your tan!

Spent a nice afternoon here in June. Tix were $8 during the week. (We got a dollar off because we were staying next door). Food reasonably priced (burgers, dogs). Park water was clean (despite other reviews). Only 4 water slides, line gets long by around 2:00pm). We'd come back again.

Went around noon on a Tuesday. Pluses: not crowded until around 1:30, plenty of chairs, rentable lockers that will fit at least a backpack. Bathrooms and showers (fairly clean) are in front of the wave pool and there are lots of chairs to the left of the wave pool for smokers. Plenty of single and double tubes. $8 and $2.75 for a single tube, per person, so not too bad. This park has a wave pool, a kiddie pool area and 4 long slide-, 2 with tubes, and 2 body slides. It would be nice if there was a lazy river or another regular pool. Minuses: you can not bring in outside food or drink. The concession stand is typical fare (hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, chips, drinks) at prices that are a bit high. $20 for 3 to eat lunch. Unattended tubes might get taken by others. Which just seems like something this park could help with, doesn't seem right that you pay for the tube and it can get taken. Suggested solution: Bring a bicycle lock that has a few feet of wire, and lock the tube handle onto your chair arm.Ladies showers (4).were cold water only, nowhere to put your clothes or shampoo/soap. One didn't have a chain to the knob, so kind of useless. Plenty of changing rooms however.Recommend that the first aid personnel put away their cell phones!Overall, not bad, but not great, just ok.

Its nice. Could use some cosmetic work. Concessions and admissionntend to be a little high, but there arent many other nearby options
