timbergate golf course

Timbergate is an excellent 18 hole championship golf course just off I-65 in Edinburgh Indiana. Each hole has it's own unique character and none repeat an earlier hole. None are excessively difficult yet all are challenging. If you are a big hitter, the back tees offer even more of a challenge. I use the forward (senior) tees and usually am in a position to shoot for par.The clubhouse is modern and attractive and offers a full snack bar including beer and/or mixed drinks. I paid $27 to ride 18 during the week - senior rate.Only "negatives" are traffic noise from I-65 ( about 4-5 holes are right next to the highway) and the lack of GPS in the cart.We play here once a month or so - it would be more often if it weren't so far from home (about 20 miles).Highly recommend this course.
