Valley Links, Donald Ross, Pete Dye and Sultan's Run are the courses associated with the French Lick resort. Had the pleasure to play Sultan's Run recently. Course was in excellent shape and absolutely fun. Lots of elevation changes tees to greens. Four tees from which to choose. Fairways also afforded fun with front to back and side to side slopes. Greens were generally large and fast. Definitely paid off to be below the holes, otherwise a three putt was a viable possibility. Regardless, the course was extremely fair with a mixture of risk and reward. Too, the course is extremely scenic. The staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely made everyone feel welcome. I definitely suggest that you give this a try - worth the drive.

Loved the tee boxes and fairways. They were in excellent shape. The greens while good were not in as good a shape as the rest of the course. Play your distance. Do not get carried away and try to play above your head. If you do this course will eat your lunch. Also it is in a beautiful area and just relaxing to be there.

Great course and beautiful views. Employees were friendly and helpful. They recommended a local German restaurant which was great. Love the zoysia grass fairways - when I found the fairway.

Nice track! All holes are different, 4 tees on every hole so folders can "play it forward". Senior rate was reasonable.

This course is a tough but fair test of golf. Each hole is different, no houses crowding the fairways. I enjoyed the elevated tee boxes and the rolling hills. The waterfall at 18 is a bonus. The staff does a good job maintaining this the course and it is very well manicured. The greens are fairly small and flat. I really enjoyed Sultan's Run and would recommend it to anyone. Our foursome drove 1.5 hrs to play this course, on our trip to watch the PGA championship, and it was worth the drive. The clubhouse has hamburgers/hot dogs for the turn.

We went here on a golf package through French Lick golf. This is a very scenic golf course. It has a waterfall on number 18. Lots of rolling hills, well maintained and friendly and helpful staff. Great views from the clubhouse. Minutes from downtown Jasper and about 25 minutes from French Lick.Plenty of tee box choices for all levels of golf. I actually enjoyed playing this over the Donald Ross in French Lick.

Sultans, fourty-five minutes from French Lick's golf courses, has incredibly vast and beautiful scenery and strategies pulled from some of the best layouts in golf courses, but Sultans is also injected with an amazingly strong dose of playability.

Great golf course in great shape. Course has been re-habed by the folks in French Lick and it is truly in great shape again.

Very challenging, beautiful course. Greens had just been aerated so they were a little bumpy. Service and facility were all outstanding. Course is pretty tough......

I had not played this course in five years. Twenty of us decided to play here on a recent outing after we were told that the management of the French Lick courses had taken over. The results are quite dramatic. The traps are all in outstanding shape as are the fairways and greens. The course staff is on top of everything. I would recommend a stop here.

I had the opportunity to play Sultans Run golf course this weekend. For a public golf course I was impressed with the layout and the staff. The course was in very good condition. What really surprised me was the uniqueness of the individual holes. Cut into rolling hills of Indiana this course has a variety of holes that require a bit of strategy in shot making to play. The hole are not difficult or unfair, they just are unique in layout from hole to hole. The course ends on a challenging par four with a beautiful cliff like waterfall as the backdrop to the 18th green. The pro shop staff and food service people were very friendly and everything from green fees to food was reasonable priced.
