Our family did the premier course which is suppose to be less intense than the ultimate course. When we arrived, we noticed a lot of people standing around. The guide called us all down to learn the basics and get harnessed up. There were 29 of us doing the course when there should have been 14. There was no explanation or apologies. The course does not seem to be well thought out. My husband who is 6"2" and very athletic fell knees and feet first while running to take off. He is going to lose both nails on his foot. His foot is black and blue. Each zip line takes off and lands by you running and then lifting your feet. You also land by running and stopping. So, there could be kids 3ft tall and adults 6 ft tall using the same course. It doesn't work. Even the guides were kidding about the butt draggers who would land on their butts and then be drug. I think the ultimate course off platforms would be safer. I have been zip lining before and can honestly say this was a scary experience. The guides were friendly and doing their best with so many people.

10 friends and I enjoyed our very first zipline experience E-V-E-R at Dagaz Acres on Saturday, 9/6/14. Ben, Whitney and (forgive me but I’m drawing a blank on the other young man’s name), guided us on an ultimate course adventure that exceeded our expectations. We made lasting memories with our teenagers that won’t soon be forgotten! We’re already looking forward to making a return trip in the Spring. Your facility and staff are amazing! Thank you for sharing Dagaz Acres with us!

Our guides were Joe and Ben. They were helpful and fun. We did the Premier tour. It was good but easy. 60 feet up was the highest we were in the air and short runs. Most of the runs you had to run and then lift your legs rather than platforms to take off. We had some older people that skinned up their legs. Other thant hat it was good. Would do it again with a Groupon.

A very dissapointing experience. We showed up 30 minutes before our reservation as instructed and then waited 45 mins for someone to show up. We were told they were late because the owners overbook the excursions. The course was fun but nowhere near worth what they charge. I could have taken twice as many people to kings island for the day for less!

My 71 year old mother, myself & 2 teenage daughters had a great first time ziplining. We were nervous, but our guides ( Kaitlyn & Austin) were good teachers! They were also very patient with our group. We did the premier tour- and felt it was perfect for beginners. Not too strenuous or demanding. There is a bit of walking and the path was a little slick. We had a pretty diverse group and no one seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping up. We started on time and the tour was true to the time schedule. I didn't take my camera because was afraid I might lose- but I would take next time. If you are with a group you can take turns with the camera at the landings as friends come in or take off.We are ready to go again!

I promised my daughter I would take her zip lining. We wanted someone not too far from home, so we chose Dagaz acres. It is only about an hour from Cincinnati. The drive there is beautiful, and the area where it is located is beautiful as well. The staff was knowlegable and helpful from the beginning to the end of the adventure. We were novices, and therefore nervous, but they put us at ease quickly. Kaitlyn and Natalie were very friendly and supportive even when we were anxious. We did the ultimate adventure which was 10 lines and 2 bridges. There was some walking involved, but it was not terribly strenuous. On 3 of the lines we had to run to get off the ground, but the rest were platforms, or walking starts. There were no climbing platforms or repeling down from platforms. I feel like this course was great for us novices, but experienced "zippers" would also enjoy it.

This was the second time my husband and I went ziplining and the course was great because each run had double lines. This was nice for us because we were there as a solo couple, not with a group and we got to do all the runs together. The guides also took lots of pictures that you could purchase at the end of your tour for a moderate fee. Also great if you are there without a group. There were 7 runs and a bridge that you got to cross.

We had a fun time zip lining for the first time! I’d read all of the tips on the website but I still was hesitant because my 60 yr. old husband had 2 knee replacements 8 months ago and I have a slipped disc in my back and sciatica. There were still a lot of unknowns about how the zip lines take off and landings would be, but we decided to “go for it”, taking along our daughter and her boyfriend. We got there about 9:10 a.m. for our 10:00 a.m. reservation. After checking in for the “Premier” course and looking at the souvenirs we waited outside. MISC: We saw a small hawk in the tree above us. There are 2 clean port a potties behind the large sign by the parking lot. The guides take photos to sell, or bring your own camera and risk it dropping into the woods below the zip lines. There were 19 people in our group including 4 young girls, people in their 20’s – 40’s and us. We had 2 guides and also Patrick (the owner) joined us to “show us the ropes” and help us get our gear on after we walked down a path to the large shelter and to help us along the way. We walked to the “training zip line” where Patrick showed us the “do’s and don’ts” and then to the first of 7 zip lines in the “Premier” course. Both of our young guides (I didn’t get their names) were helpful and nice, and we tipped them well at the end. Make sure to bring some cash along to put tips (10-15% of the regular price) into the bucket at the shelter at the end. There are water dispensers and cups at a couple of the zip lines in case you’re thirsty, and I was grateful. It had been raining the few days before so the ground was just a little damp and I worried about my husband slipping on the uphill and downhill grades going to and from the zip lines and messing up his knees: however there are lots of tree roots and some man made “steps” in the paths so he did not slip. He is not supposed to jump and running is not easy: however he did not ever need to jump or to run fast. They do instruct you how you need to take off and land but it does take practice, and if you don’t put your feet down to land in time you may land on your butt. He even did well on the swinging “Pirate” bridge – even when others on it made it bounce! This is truly a zip line course for beginners, children, and those with imperfect bodies. They do have the more advanced “Ultimate” course for those who want more advanced adventure and are able bodied.I had no back problems on the course, and no fear of heights either (sometimes an issue for me).Keep your eyes open for poison ivy, I saw some near the landing area of the “Big Nasty”.This is not a criticism at all because you can’t control it in the woods – just a warning to be alert.

I've always been afraid of physical adventures ... amusement park rides, white water rafting, etc. Finally, I decided that some of those fears were not based in reality but that I was just automatically limiting myself. I saw that Dagaz Acres had a beginner option (Premier Course) that wasn't too high or long and was decided to give it a try. So glad that I did. I had a great time! Most of the other people in the group had never ziplined before and we were all in the same boat. The two employees who took us thru the course were patient and helpful. The whole experience was low-key and non-intimidating. Check out their website for lots of info; it's very informative. When you make a reservation, be sure to select the option that is right for you. For "adrenaline junkies", there's an Ultimate Course so you can sign up for what best meets your experience level.

Took my daughter to Dagaz and had a blast. We were on a tour with 10 other people, rode probably 10 ziplines, and still finished in less than 90 minutes. The staff was efficient and the zipline set up is top notch. It's a bit remote from Cincinnati, but worth the drive.

Last weekend we went for a zipline adventure here. Weather great, owners fantastic! You sign if course if any injury. We gave ziplined out if country ( Belize) and in West Virginia ( Adventures on the Gorge). Both places had safer start points and landing area with 1:1 staff to ensure safety. Dagaz unfortunately you have to run to take off on some if ziplines ( one man tripped and could have twisted ankle) and many of us adults hit land running causing significant impact on legs and knees and two women landed on their butts sliding in! The next to last zip line called Bug Nasty I was coming in very fast and was told to be looking for a rope hand off but the owner point person was attending to the other person! ( I yelled out for help and thankfully he put himself in front of me stopping me , but I still got an impact that hurt ! That was the other major issue ! You had 2 zip lines running at once and only one point person for both .I would not recommend any adult doing this ! Kids are lighter and pretty much got pulled in. The system needs major upgrading for adults and their safety! No one felt comfortable talking . Kids did not know and had a good time .

A great time. Wife and 2 boys (11 and 9) were a little timid but those fears were soon gone as they took off through the air. Brendan and Joe were great guides. Made everything simple for us and kept us safe. The ultimate course had 10 lines and was a great mix of length and speed. Get ready for the Big Nasty!

We went to DC and NYC and stopped here on our way back to Missouri. I am deathly scared of heights but this was the best thing I did on my entire trip! Derek and Tim were our guides and they were wonderful. I would highly recommend this, we did the Premier Course it was better for beginners. Also, if you go to the Creation Museum you get a nice discount. I can't wait to get to go zipling again.
