Park is really clean and staff there is always friendly. I've been there two different times now and enjoyed going both times. Their free drinks, parking, and sunscreen are fantastic incentives for going. Price is fairly expensive, but that's expected from an amusement park nowadays. The focus seems to be on their water park, however, which is unfortunate because I'm not a huge water park fan. It means there are less roller coasters to go on. The ones they do, have, though are unique and fun. Layout can be a little confusing at times.

This park is always clean. We love the free drinks and sunscreen. You can easily spend a day here without riding all of the rides/slides (if you also do the waterpark). If you can come on a weekday, the lines aren't quite as long. Fun for all ages!

We stopped on a trip back home from Indianapolis and were so wonderfully surprised at this park. Great little place, not long lines. Some of the best wooden roller coasters we've ever been on in America. Free drinks, parking, and sunscreen all day. The water park was nice and we just relaxed there when the kids played in the slides. Very friendly staff. Great place to nurse or change a baby in the first aid room. I wish it was closer to home!

We have been here several times and each time we are very pleased. The free soft drinks are a big plus so less money spent for that. Every year they add a new ride to the park, which is a plus as well. Staff has been helpful each time there was a question. Reasonable prices for daily attendance. If you're looking for a great family getaway, I would definitely suggest this park!!

We went this summer and it was amazing! Bumper cars were fun, water park was really fun, food was good but not really filling, and it seemed like everyone around us including us was having a good time. Plus, there were free drinks. The only problem was that there were people who didn't look very family friendly and one guy was mean to one of the workers because he had to park very far away from the entrance! And if you want souvenirs, bring a load of cash because they're pretty expensive.

what a great place to take your family, meet and greet with Santa himself all year long, rides rides and more rides, the water park in the best, free sun screen, free drinks, free parking, totally family oriented

Visited here one summer with my husband. Took a 16 hour drive from Long Island, but it was worth it. Staff is very friendly and pleasant and seem to want to be there unlike in other parks where the staff is sometimes rude and unfriendly. The free drinks all day give this park an extra star. Rides are typical but some great coasters. The best was the Pioneer in Thanksgiving Land. Definitely ride that ride at night for a unique experience. Also, they have one of the tallest raft rides in the country where the raft boards an elevator to get to the top. The only thing to avoid are the wrapped packages in the gift shop. You take a chance because you pay a flat fee and you don't know what you're getting. I bought one for fun and it turned out to be a Hannah Montana bracelet. I had to donate it at Christmas. Diving show was exciting too with some great eye candy.

Holiday World may be on the smaller side (and a bit in the middle of nowhere!), but it packs in some of the most outrageously fun water coasters and water slides I've ever experienced (including ones at the big parks like 6 Flags and Orlando water parks). The amusement park section is pretty amazing, too, but what really impressed me was the world-record-breaking water coaster, which combines white water rafting with a water slide, and the world's tallest water slide. Add in some of the best perks ever (free parking, free sunscreen, free fountain drinks and very short lines) and this is water park definitely worth the drive to the zany town of Santa Claus.

We went the first week of July and stayed at the campground. Campsites are very close together, but quite nice. Our site was in the Dasher section on "Jolly", very close to the pool, the pool house (air conditioned!), toilets and showers. The bath house seemed fairly new and was really nice. It's also close to Blitzen's Kitchen with decent pizza and ice cream selections (soft serve). Easy access to the camp store using the shuttles, which also bring you right to the park entrance.Ticket prices are really decent and include unlimited soda, gatorade, lemonade, and peach iced tea, plus free sunscreen! Plenty of drink stations all around the park. Check out the discount tickrt deals at the campground. Military discounts are also available. Second day tickets are only $27 (which was the best deal for us) and can be purchased at guest services near the entrance gate.Staffer tip: there's a sweet concoction called "Gummi Bear Juice" that's popular with the staff. It's a 50/50 mix of pink lemonade and peach tea. Our kids loved it, and it was a great alternative to soda for them.We loved this family vacation and can't wait to come back once our youngest is 42" tall (able to ride all or nearly all the rides). This park seems best for kids 42-54" tall.

This family owned park is one of the best in the world. Fantastic roller coasters, marvellous friendly staff and a fantastic water park. How can you not have fun. Also free access to soft drink machines throughout the park. There is even free sun cream available in the water park ( tried it once but found it too thick and preferred to use my own in future. Great food and even better ice cream. The museum and shops are also great.
