We came to the winery because it was featured as a Best of Groupon experience. We also had a Groupon for the tour, wine tasting, bottle of wine, and two souvenir glasses. Warning to those who have never visited, it is away from the beaten path, but is find-able.We had an informative tour guide. We've been on several winery tours, but even learned more on this tour. Scott, the gentleman in charge of the wine tasty was helpful, friendly, and also very informative. Our wine tasting also came with a fruit, cheese, and cracker platter. The winery is a wonderful example of an efficient business model and a superb winery. A lovely experience, that could have only been improved by having sun as opposed to rain.Several awarding winning wines to choose from too.

We visited after purchasing a Groupon. It was a fantastic deal!! The tour was fun and informative, but the wines were the best part! The tasting loft was welcoming and cozy! I'm looking forward to returning during the summer months!

Regardless of the weather, Huber is a great find. Depending on the time of year or day you choose to attend, there is are multiple activities to choose from. We just visited in the winter for the first time and were surprised that the market was well stocked with great seasonal items, the gift shop was well appointed, the wines available to taste were plentiful, and the diner was serving their amazing food. We took a tour this time, which was free, informative, and tickled the ofactory senses. Although buried in amongst the hills of Southern Indiana, the roads to get to Huber from every direction are well maintained.

My wife and I were up visiting friends in Southern Indiana and they wanted to take us by Huber's Winery for a treat after New Year's Day. We also found out upon arriving for their 11 a.m. wine making tour and tasting that they now have a "hard spirits" tour since they make a variety of hard spirits and are now allowed to market and sell it. We opted for the 11:30 a.m. hard spirits tour and for the next hour were treated to free samples of their bourbon whiskey, vodka, and gins that they make. The tour was interesting and gave us a great background as to how the Huber's got into the hard spirits and wine making business. After the tour we went upstairs to do the wine tasting. Since I've just had two knees replaced in the past four months they were a bit sore and tired so I decided to sit in a nice resting area on a comfy chair away from the tasting bar. My wife and the other couple shared with JoAnn, our tasting host about my knees and she encouraged them to bring my chair to the bar making an exception for me otherwise. This helped to make my participation much more enjoyable in the tasting and JoAnn was very entertaining as we went through the eight different varieties that we could taste during our experience. After the tasting, since we had paid for the "hard spirits" tour, an artisan pizza came with our experience. We saved this until later but found that the chicken artichoke pizza was exceptional tasting and was very rich!! The cheese and artichoke was delicious on the thin artisan crust! After receiving our pizza we shopped a bit in the main building and proceeded to go into the cheese shop and then the variety store where we found all kinds of fresh made goodies like cheese and snacks along with other items to take home with us. All in all a great way to spend a cool winter day in Southern Indiana! I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to the area!

Visited there three years ago and returned this year. Good family business. Like the wine and the store. Bought cheese and some produce.

Don't confuse this place with the Huber's Family Farm which is close by but not the same.I'm not much of a wine drinker and I love coming to Huber's. They have a wonderful farm market with produce, baked goods, jams, jellies, juices and many other treats from the Huber farm. They have a restaurant with great food and of course numerous wine selections. They have specialty wine and sangria offerings according to the season. There is often live music on the weekends during warmer months. There is also an ice cream shop where you can get hand dipped homemade ice cream and they also have an assortment of cheeses. You can also pick your own produce. Throughout the year they will take you to their fields and you can pick your berries, peaches, apples, pumpkins, etc. which is great fun for adults as well as kids. The grounds are beautiful and there is also a nice play area for kids.Become a wine club member and enjoy special offerings and privileges. The winery has also recently added a distillery.

I always love our bi-annual trip to Huber's Winery. This time we had such a great experience we opted to join their wine club. Many of the Huber wines are comparable to California versions and are quite reasonably priced. Limited edition, seasonal favorites are worth the wait!

Our friends wanted us to sample some of the local wines. We made our selections and started our wines. Each 1 was better than the rest. The reserve wines were even better! We really enjoyed our servers! They made us feel very welcome. The dry red wines are very good!

My wife and I had talked for a couple of years about making the hour and 15 minute drive down to Huber. This past Sunday, waking up to a beautiful day, we finally did. Upon arriving we immediately started kicking ourselves for waiting so long. First of all, it was a 75 degree October day, something that doesn't happen often this late in the year in Indiana. While not crowded when we arrived, it was packed when we lucked into a couple of seats at a picnic table to enjoy a glass of wine and a flatbread for lunch. Filled with the sounds of live music, people laughing and kids playing, we couldn't have asked for a more idyllic setting. Make sure while you're there to do the wine tasting, and splurge on the Apple Brandy. As Indiana wines go, this is the best you'll find, and their top reds rank up there with some really good California labels.

We stopped at Huber Farms on our way home from our weekend getaway and were glad we did. We rode the wagon out to pick pumpkins and got two huge pumpkins and was pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to pay a fortune for them. Loved the Market with all the goodies in there and the ice cream was fantastic! Nice stop!!

Was actually there this time last year on business. It was easy to see how much fun it would be for a family/friends visit. Huber family were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home. Everything Fall - beautiful countryside & trees, pumpkins, autumn decorations, tractor rides, corn maze, food, and award winning wines too!

I went with two other adults and we were excited about visiting the orchard and winery. We had all sampled many of the Huber's wines at area winefests. This was a 2 hr drive (one way) for us and we specifically planned on driving out just to visit this place. Everything was pretty much disappointing. The ladies at the information table were rude, and we told them this was our first time visiting and were looking for suggestions and were just shoved some pamplets and maps. We signed up for a wine sampling tour with 7 selections each (total of 21 samples between us) and only one sample was actually palatable. We then visited the farm market and sampled the apple cider. It was okay, but a little watery. When we asked the gal at the sample area what types of apples were in it, she didn't know and just said it's whatever happens to ripe when they make it. We had been told by one of the gals working a previous winefest that you could watch the apples being pressed. This was false and apparently the cider production is behind closed doors. We then saw some homemade donuts being made. The man was very rude when we asked if samples were available and just said "you'll love them, no samples!" Well they are freshly made (cake donuts) and smell delicious, but they put them hot into plastic containers causing condensation in the package making for soggy donuts if you don't just gulp them down right away. We then went to pick apples, four varieties were available for picking. There were two lines for pick your own...one for apples and one for pumpkins. We hopped on one when they said it was for apples. Well apparently that one was for 2 of the 4 varieties and the tractor driver was very rude when we asked where the variety of apple we wanted to pick was. He then left us there to wait with apples that were full of bugs and basically pretty crappy apples. Then we rode back and got on the "right" tractor after another employee got rude when we asked which tractor would take us to the apples we wanted to pick. We finally got our apples, and for a variety that we were all used to, they tasted funny. Watered down. I don't know if it's something in the soil or what, but the apples were not so hot. Plus full of invasive weeds inclusing poison ivy, oak, sumac. All of this would have been okay but literally every employee was rude to us. We got some ice cream on the way out that was labelled as "homemade", it wasn't very good either. Baskin Robbins would been it in a taste test any day. My friends and I had a good time in spite of inferious products and lackluster customer service. But we won't return. I will say that there were plenty of people there with kids, and couples, etc and most seemed to be having an okay time. If you don't ever get to go to a working orchard it could still be an okay experience, but we were all experienced patrons of winerys and also of orchards and compared to others, this one was a big fail.

This is one of the best Family Days out of town you could choose. About 12 of us got together and carpooled from Cincy, we all had a Blast! There is so much to enjoy and do, from picking pumpkins, apples, to wine tastings. There are tractor rides to and from the orchard and pumpkin patch. The store has everything from Fresh produce to soup mixes and WONDERFUL Homemade breads. There is also a wonderful restaurant that serves a buffet with the best All you can eat Fried Chicken. This has become a tradition to go every year and everyone looks forward to it. You will not be disappointed. There is no fee, so you can spend more on the Delicious breads, pumpkins and tons of other things.
