Holy-Field makes some of the best wines I have found. My wife and I have been to Napa, Hermann and most recently the wine region of the Finger Lakes in New York. The winemakers at Holy-Field produce a number of amazing reds and whites with a good selection of dry and sweet wines. I am particularly found of their port. In fact I purchased some from 1994! If you are new to wine or an old dog like me make a trip out there I think you will find something truly exceptional!

Holy-field offers excellent mid western wines at reasonable prices. The grape picking season is fun and a great family experience. You call sign up to pick, and after a few hours of grape picking, you can go into the main building for a great buffet to satisfy the hunger of the mornings work. The owners are super friendly and the people who work there offer great service.

We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the trip. After tasting a few, we selected the blackberry and enjoyed it on their covered deck. The wines are a great price and make nice gifts, too!

Tasted 4 or 6 of their wines, all were good and two were excellent - The Raspberry & their Blackberry wines. Red wines, sweet. Good ones were their Racy Red & Tailgate Red. Tasting is fun and relaxed. They even offered grape juice tasting for the kids.

Been here before and once again enjoyed their wines and service. The difference this visit was the owner. As I said in my previous review, they serve typical midwestern wines ...but the service was the best. Thanks for a great visit. See you again next time we're passing through.

We love their wines (LOTS of award-winning varieties), and it's pretty close (10 minutes west of Legends), and very reasonably priced (a couple bottles as low as 10.95). The only strike is that their outside sitting/drinking area isn't quite as nice as it could be. Still worth a visit!

We enjoyed tasting the fruit wines and the wines made with the local grapes. Being from the South, this was different from the wineries here. The wine was a bit drier and very tasty! The staff was friendly and asked us many questions and tried their best to serve what they felt we would enjoy. We loved it!! I bought 2 of the Rasperry Wines so I could enjoy one later! I had never had Raspberry wine! Such a treat!

The visit my husband and I had today was the worst we've experienced anywhere. "Vicky" acted as though she was annoyed we were there. She ignored us and obviously wanted to refuse when we asked to taste something.....and we did not request to try even half of the list. She even "grunted" for us to hold our glasses up so she wouldn't have to reach too far to pour. The only reason we bought anything was because we were on our way home from out of town and wanted to bring our dog sitter a gift. I regret giving my business to this place and will definitely not do so in the future. As for the wines, they are average.

You will get just what you expect if you're used to the midwest winery experience. They do have some good wines and a really nice outdoor seating area, but sth tasting rom inside is a bit cramped. All in all it is worth the stop. I'll be back.

My family have been going to the winery since it opened years ago. It has evolved over the years with a lot of hard work and love. Michelle and Les are the best . All their family, friends and volunteers keep the winery going. Cheers to all of them. My friends and I volunteer with the grape harvest every year. It is such a fun time. They reward the harvesters with a great lunch afterwards and a harvest tee shirt . I also attend the Murder Mystery Plays each year. It always makes great birthday and Christmas gifts. If you want to have good wine, food and alot of laughs this is a must do. Their wine is by far my favorite local wine. They have a very fun gift shop and tasting room. It has been my pleasure to help support such a well loved local family business.

The oldest family owned winery in Kansas - and ranked number one. The wine is superb and there are many selections in reds, whites, and a few fruit wines. The family experiments with a number of varietals and hybrids on their 18+ acres of vineyard. The gift shop is small, but very nice and not just, wine-focused. The owners are working in cooperation with other area agricultural producers to market each others' wares - you can buy cheeses, jams, and other local crafts. The best part of a visit (besides tasting the wine) is talking with the owners and staff - wonderfully warm people who know a great deal about growing grapes and producing wine an who love to share that knowledge in a friendly manner - no 'pinky-crooked' faux manners required!

Holy-Fields produces some good, affordable wines and they are very happy to have you share them. They put on a good wine tasting.

Very friendly staff, quaint little shop and great wine. I have yet to make it over to the harvest time, but that is on my list.

Family also harvested grapes there. Wine is fantastic. Top rated of all wineries around Kansas City Area.

Go there every year at Christmas to get wine for gifts.
