Took four teenage boys to here for a birthday party. We got there when they opened at noon today so the boys had the track to themselves for the first race. The carts are fast and the track is fun. They played games in the arcade after racing. There are plenty of games, but the area is a little dark and dingy. The boys enjoyed themselves anyway.

The carts were a lot of fun but the arcade was disappointing. Outside the track was pretty dirty. Inside the track one of the kids working there was chewing tobacco and spitting on the ground. I chewed for a long time. That doesn't bother me but spitting on the ground around a bunch of kids does.

Quite a few disappointments. Arcade- many games were out of order so we couldn't even try to play and others ate coins and didn't start. Racing- we took three kids ages 7-10. The 7 yearold couldn't ride due to the only double seater Sadlers had being broken, so we were both out of luck. There was no way to reserve a 10min race for the other kids in addition to our 6 adults riding. We asked because the two kids were only just tall enough to ride and were nervous to be with all the fast guys on the track. Many cars were not functioning properly, some had sticky breaks, others had parts falling off so sparks flew all over the runway. The customer service was lacking- 4 highschool aged employees were in charge. After the 50 minute round drive, this was disappointing.

This place was understaffed no management present. Everything is overpriced. There are better uses for your entertainment dollar pick something else. Otherwise come here blow your money and regret it.

My husband and I needed to do something out of the norm….something to make us laugh and feel young again. Sadlers was just the thing. We had a great time racing and it got my heart racing in a different sort of way.

This place just went through some nice little upgrades and the cars are very very fast. If you are looking to race indoors this place does it well! We have been 5 times and have not been disappointed.

Been going here on and off for years, I race micro sprint cars and in the winter/spring it keeps my reaction time spot on. Last few times I've been the karts get worse and worse last time the kart would honestly only go barely half throttle...I got passed by a young kid that was maybe going half throttle. I pulled in and asked for a new kart, employee said no and motioned me on, I tried to argue my case but was told race or get out. These karts used to be nice but they are so broken down its crazy, almost worse than the set of karts they had prior to these. The employees I knew by name and respected that actually had some racing knowledge have all since left this place and now it's a bunch of idiots...hopefully some new karts and good staff are in the future for this place!!

I wouldn't spend a dime in this place. Not for lousy service, careless customer service, and carts nearly falling apart. Wow. Not to mention the lack of air conditioning in the place. This is best comparable to a place run by a crack-head slum lord.

I love the real powered go carts not electric ones. They make driving a lit more fun, with the feel of the engine. I will certainly go back.

Went with a group of 4 other co workers while on a trip to KCMO. Go cart action was a blast. Although the no 2 seaters after 7 rule was not enforced. Wasn't too busy a night so our group was able to go every other race. The reason I could not go above an average grade is because of the customer service. Our first interaction was with a young lady that could have cared less whether or not we spent any money there. It almost seemed like she was trying to talk us out of racing that night. We raced the last race and were very disappointed that they erased our final race times before we could settle up a friendly bet. Again, young lady at the front desk could not have cared less. A little on the spendy side but fairly close to what we would have expected. Would go again and hopefully not have to interact with Miss Caresless.

First time racing here. I was smart and "pre-booked" our race time so we would not have to wait 30-45 min or more to race. I saw others just show up and there were no racing spots available the rest of the day...so "pre-book-buy your races. I purchased our family 2-10 min races. We entered this place by walking through the arcade area. This area features about 30 games as well as 3 pool tables. This is area needs a lot of attention, and is starting to look very run down with many games in need of repair. Lights above the pool tables are not well lit and some are just hanging by cords and tape. The counter people were very nice and we filled out waivers. Next to the instruction room to watch a 3 min video on the rules. We then entered the race area, picked out helmets, and waited for our race. The indoor area is partially ventilated, so the fumes may kinda get ya. The track is a Grand Prix type set up. The cars are fast and fun. Very low to the ground and allows for fun corners. It is difficult to pass on this track so much of the racing is keeping position and trying not to spin out. There are just two guys that operate the track side and they pretty much do a good job. I would agree with other reviews to be careful on putting kids on the track. These cars can do 45mph down the straight and if you were to get hit or hit the wall this could really hurt a smaller body. Without a doubt you will see the NASCAR wanna be's show up with their own gloves, helmets, and attitudes so be prepared. Our charges were $20 for each 10min race. I thought this was a bit expensive, but with their bookings so full, they don't have to lower prices. There is no air conditioning in the track area so it is a hot place during the warm weather. You will be very sweaty when your done racing so don't wear good clothes. Closed toe shoes are required, and really a safety issue so be sure to not forget them. Plan on being there a full hour from start to finish for 2 races. I would visit here again because it was fun, but I sure wish someone would put a bit of upkeep and care into this place. I would be so much more fun then.

My youngest son (14) and his baseball teammates went to Sadler's during some down time. His older brother (18) missed out, so we went the next day and both boys raced. They had a good time and liked being able to go fast. They only raced for 10 minutes, which cost $18.00 each. They seemed to think it was worth especially when they found out we were paying. They were both willing to spend their own money to race though. We got there when it first opened at noon on Memorial Day and only a couple other families were there, so it was not crowded and no line. Something good to do on a rainy day, since the tracks are indoors. There was also an arcade and concessions, but we did not do either.

My husband and son (20 yrs old) claim that these are the fastest Go Karts around. And they have done Go Karts almost everywhere we go - Branson, Florida, Iowa, Colorado, Texas, and Niagara Falls. I don't think this is really a good place for small kids as there are lots of adults trying to go fast in their cars and kids have to ride with adults because they go so fast. This is a place for those who have "a need for speed" They give you a printout at the end so you can see how fast you went and compare with your buddy, etc to see who was fastest. They can go about 30 to 40 mph if I recall correctly. It is very pricey but still something my grown son loves to do. Usually have to wait whenever we have been there - about 30 minutes or more.

Went there for a Chamber of Commerce event and enjoyed it. It is indoors and that helps with the weather. Well ventilated so the fumes from the carts wasn't an issue.

Our Birthday Parties are private only. However, the person that invited your son there may have asked to just meet at Sadler's and they will pay for the races. We always ask the participants if they mind racing with the younger ones or visa versa. Especially when its a birthday party. We are constantly striving to accommodate everyone that comes here. We ran karts here for 7 years with no seat belts or roll bars. 5 years ago I decided to add some karts with seat belts and roll bars. Every customer has the option of not driving a kart for any reason what so ever. If you feel that it is unsafe for you and/or your son, please don't participate. We have a waiver that clearly states that anything can happen and a safety video that is viewed before than can drive. Every customer reads and signs a waiver before any one can drive a kart. Our number one priority is safety and we have an exquisite safety record with over 1,500,000 customers in the past 12 years.
