We visited here because our hosts in the B&B at Bayfield recommended it on our way out of town. It was a beautiful old barn, very romantic, with a nice garden. It was quiet and peaceful. We did not have time to eat, just walked around and enjoyed the place.

We spent the day in Bayfield last week on a 11 day family vacation up in Northern Wisconsin. This is like the 3rd time we have come to this town on Lake Superior and we just love the city and area. We did the circle tour of the orchards here and there are many great farms on the drive. We previously went to Hauser's and this too is a gem of a farm. Blue Vista is spectacular! The landscaping and amount of flowers and variety of flowers is breathtakingly beautiful! (I would add pics of all this but this is new listing and I am the first to write a review for Blue Vista). Then there are all the fruit bushes and trees all well kept and organized around the farm. They were out of strawberry season and now in raspberry season and we picked a large flat of them and they were delicious. We saw the blueberry bushes and they are loaded! Still green but they said 2-3 weeks that season starts. I know there are other things there to pick but we were pressed on time as we had a sailboat trip on Superior in 2 hours but we really enjoyed the time we spent on the farm with the kids. Weather was great, they have a pen of cute baby goats there the kids can feed and there farm house sells all sorts of jellies, jams, honey's, soaps, etc. all from the area. The bonus of the Orchard loop trip is there are all sorts of places on the drive that you are very high up and you will some some spectacular views of lake Superior to take pictures of on the trip. I highly recommend Blue Vista farm for families of couples for a relaxing day of picking fresh fruit and enjoying the outdoors. Please don't miss this and really all the farms on the loop are worth a stop if you have the time. Enjoy!
