The trail was easy to walk and would be a great bicycle ride as well. Liked the historical markers too.

A beautiful "rails to trails" path that takes you from town to town. Cedarburg to Port Washington is my favorite section. Stop in Pt. Washington for a snack or a meal amd beautiful lakeside views. The rest is very rural. It is very flat and not a difficult ride. I've done a lot of rails to trails rides and this is one of the best. DO IT!!!!!!!

We started in Cedarburg. Heading NE toward Grafton was more scenic than going S toward Thiensville. However, the stop in Thiensville was pleasant. The path was relatively flat and paved.

This trail has been around for years. Nicely paved and perfect for bikes and walking alike. It goes all the way from Port Washington, to Milwaukee. I would just be very careful on it if you get close to Brown Deer because of safety issues.

Best maintained bike trail and lot of places to stop along the way. Variety of scenery and easy to take side trips on roads.

This is an enjoyable trail, especially on a nice spring or summer day. The trail is paved and the the bushes or growth along the trail have matured which makes for pleasant natural scenery. We rode from Brown Deer Road to just south of Cedarburg, and stopped in Thiensville for lunch. Next time we plan to ride from Cedarburg or Grafton to Port Washington. What is nice is that you can do a short ride or a long ride, since the trail runs the length of Ozaukee County. I'm looking forward to my next ride on this trail.

I was just visiting and friends took us on the path south of Cedarburg. The asphalt is pretty well maintained and nice views along the way. A couple of the street crossing require a bit of patience but the drivers seem pretty friendly and several stopped for us. What a nice way to get down to Milwaukee on the bike. Very green and lush in summer and lots of shade in most spots. If they added a few bridges over the busiest streets I would give it 5 stars (or add soon demand stop lights)

Smooth, paved trail that keeps going and going. Great scenery. Well maintained. Goes through downtown Cedarburg, Grafton, and Port Washington.

We actually travel the bike trail all the time, as it is located within sight of our front door! It's extremely convenient and well-kept for traveling in Ozaukee County (especially between Grafton-Cedarburg-Thiensville-Mequon). We use it very frequently for visits to downtown Cedarburg and love that it runs right through the middle of town - close to shopping and restaurants. One thing to watch out for - speeding bicyclists. Sometimes they do not warn you of their approach from behind and it can be a bit dangerous when walking (especially with small children).

I use this path everyday for walking the dogs, biking and running. Paved path from county line to county line, ( connects with Oak Leaf trail and can follow into Sheboygan County, on to Kohler Andre via roads), takes you through small cities in Ozaukee County, quaint communities, farm fields, Lake Michigan, Port Washington Marina, Milwaukee River, Cedar Creek, golf courses, woods, beautiful fall colors, bridges, fox, deer, sand hill cranes, wild turkeys, restaurants, bars, .... It lacks nothing. So blessed to live two blocks away. Truly a treasure. Sincerely, so glad the Interurban Trail is part of the community in which I live.

Made for biking but did see some people hiking the Interurban Trail. Didn't notice any politicians though. Parked in the Cedarburg village lot and biked for a number of miles east. Easy ride as it's paved and flat. Great for beginners! A part of Wisconsin's extensive trail system and a good use for the defunct electric railroad that had served the area well for so many years.

There are some lovely scenic views from the bridge where one can see the rapids. We just walked to the bridge to see the creek and the fall colors. We did nto take the trail to the end. I recommend you go down to the mill to see the views over the dam too.

We traveled the entire route between Thiensville and Oostburg. It is a very enjoyable ride and the towns along the way are very cute. Keep in mind there is not a lot of shade in the northern sections.

Quite a treat for those of us that live and work nearby but also worth a visit for the bike enthusiast. 32 miles of paved roadway mostly through scenic countryside or a few city streets. Easy to ride and easy to access from Milwaukee to Sheboygan WI

Every time my family and I travel up to Cedarburg for an overnighter...we ALWAYS pack the bikes and hit this trail for 2-3 hours. We ride from Cedarburg to Thiensville, taking a left down the road, around the curve and over to the park they have by the river. It's a great spot to stop and rest and take in the beautiful riverside park. We want to bring a picnic/backpack lunch sometime as there are picnic tables. Paved trail with some shade (morning is best for cooler temps if sunny) and not too many inclines. Obviously more advanced bikers can travel much further and devote more time to this great trail!
