I've been to 10 pin several times. It's never too busy, or never too slow. The bartenders are very friendly, and pour nice drinks. They have a full menu in the bar, and I had a salad there once. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good. Their appetizers look very good. Overall, I'm impressed that a bowling alley not only offers drinks, but a full menu as well.

ordered nacho's and they were very much "Americanized" and bland. I had to ask for jalapeno's to spice them up. The salsa was very mild as well. The portion size was very generous, however the sides, such as the salsa, sour cream, and jalapeno's came in very small containers.

Friendly atmosphere, bar food is average. Decent prices for food and drinks. Beer/alcohol selection is good with a few craft brews on tap. Did not bowl, but alleys look to be in good condition. Overall, nothing special, but good for a laid-back evening.

Two weeks ago, our son and his bride were married on a farm outside Madison, WI. Because both sides of the wedding party were from out of town, the kids opted for an all inclusive Welcoming Reception instead of a smaller and selective Rehearsal Dinner. They asked for a casual "meet and greet" evening with pizza and beer. The manager of the Country Inn and Suites in Fitchburg suggested we "do what the locals do" and hold our reception at the Ten Pin Bowling Alley, right next door to the hotel. The Ten Pin Alley is the nicest bowling alley I've ever seen. No stale cigarette or stinky feet smells here. It has state of the art lanes, two great bar areas, and a fabulous meeting room for receptions. We stopped in a few months before the wedding weekend for a tasting. We were able to try the pizzas and sample the different beers. Bill, the manager, did a great job of keeping in touch via phone and email. On the day of our event, we were allowed early access to the room to do some decorating. All the tables were set with white tablecloths. The crew had buffet table areas set up for the food, the beverages, and the cake. We chose 3 kinds of pizza and an assortment of other appetizer trays. By far, the biggest hit (besides the pizza) was the shrimp cocktail. Bill was able to provide and present all the food beautifully. Servers Chris and Sue did a wonderful job staying on top of replenishing the trays and pizzas; all made and baked as needed. We reserved a number of lanes for our guests to use throughout the evening. We were actually surprised at how many guests bowled. We heard lots of laughs all night. Everyone said it was a relaxed and unique way to start the weekend. Ten Pin Alley has a casual atmosphere, great food, and an activity to do besides eating, drinking, and visiting. Kids of all ages had fun. And best of all, no one had to drive afterwards. Most of our guests stayed at the Country Inn and Suites next door, so it was a short walk across the parking lot at the end of the night.Hats off to Bill, Chris and Sue for handling our big crowd (125 people) with excellent service. I'd recommend using this facility to anyone wanting to host a fun event.
