This is the place to golf if you want to loose yourself in nature. Great course, amazing setting, I like to call it the "Rural Pebble Beach". I could just walk the whole course and loose, and be ok with it because it's so beautiful.

Two separate and distinct golf courses at Lawsonia provide a good challenge and some great beauty to enjoy while playing golf. Although very busy in the summer, the off-peak season is both available and affordable.

A round of golf at a classic links course along with a great fish fry, it doesn't get any better. Spend the whole day playing the Links course and then finishing it off at the Langford Pub with a great dinner. The course is rated among the top 10 in the state and it is a public course with reasonable prices. The views are outstanding and the service is second to none.

played 36 hole on the links course the cost was only $95.00 for the day of golfing the course was in excellent shape and the staff were very helpful, and told you the history of the course before heading out.

Both golf courses at Lawsonia are fun to play and VERY reasonably priced ($50 green fees in our case). My group of 12 guys stayed in the two houses on the premises. While very dated, they were clean and cheap. Perfect for a bunch of guys traveling to play golf. About one hour from Erin Hills so a nice addition to a golf trip to Wisconsin.

I played the Woodlands course at Lawsonia in Mid-July. What a beautiful and challenging course. You definitely need to keep it between the trees and there is lots of sand to contend with. The second hole is very interesting - you have to play over a quarry on your second shot. The only two negative things I should mention is the lack of clear diagrams at the tee box to tell you what the hole looks like and the sand traps had a lot of gravel in them but this may have been due to the rain the previous night.

The golf course is beautiful, green, and will definitely challenge your putter. Played in a foursome and two of the players were above the hole, tapped their putt, and it ended up 15 yards off the green. Other than that "unfair" challenge it was a pleasure to play and the course was in great shape!

I try to make the trip to Lawsonia once a year to play the Links Course. It is a classic Langford design from 1930 and really does play like a links course, with firm and fast conditions, and great greens well protected by very penal sand traps, some of which are 6-8 feet below the putting surface. The Woodlands course is OK but there are many like that design in Wisconsin, so this year we just played the Links course twice for the unique experience - had a great time.

Two totally different great courses. Both the Woodlands and the LInks courses were beautifully maintained and offered a variety of shots. Great view of the lake from the Woodlands 3rd tee. If you are a little wild off the tee, bring plenty of balls. Trees line the Woodlands course and knee-high fescue grasses line the links course. Will happily play there again.

The Links course is a gem and a must play for serious golfers. It is the closest you will get to a Links experience this far from an ocean. It was in great condition and is not only challenging but a lot of fun to play - you will want to play it again as soon as you finish 18. The Woodland course has some nice holes and some that are a little funky - worth playing as a companion to the Links but not on the same level.

We chose the Links Course because it is rated one of the top 50 fun golf courses in the USA. It did not disappoint! We ended up with a mild and sunny November day for golfing. We had only planned to go 9 holes, but the pro suggested we just pay the reduced off season fee and go for 18. We were happy we did! We purchased a sandwhich and sodas to eat while we golfed during the warmest part of the day. The food was fine. The interactions with the staff were friendly and helpful. The golf course was awesome! Crazy amount of challenge if you hit right, left or short. Lots of moguls and lots of sand. The course was in very good shape, in spite of it being the very end of the golf season in Wisconsin.
