Sheila was fantastic! We had a great time. We highly recommend this winery. We will be back! We visited a few wineries while in Door County but this was our favorite based on customer service!

We stopped at 'Door 44' winery in door county and had really great service and tastings. It was a comfortable atmosphere and she helped us pick out wines according to our tastes. I ended up getting a wine that was from Parallel 44, and it was great! We'll have to make a stop there next time to finish tasting all of their wines.

A friend and I visit here a few times a year. We love the place. The staff is knowledgeable, but more importantly a lot of fun. This is typically our first stop as we make our way into Door County. Fully recommend the place.

My sister and I stopped on a Monday. It wasn't busy and have a lot of fun trying the wines and I walked away for a case of wine. It is fun to go to a place off of the beaten path. For all those that go to Door County this is a must stop. It was really interesting to realize I grew up near this area and never realized the comparison of the soil and weather as on the 44th Parallel. Enjoy!

We were at the tasting room in Door Co. not Kewaunee but they had some very nice wines and the staff was very friendly and helpful, we met one of the owners and had a nice talk with her.I bought a bottle of Frozen Tundra Red which I plan to get out when the Packers are winning the playoffs, and if they don't I will enjoy it anyway.

Last Sunday we went to a wine tasting at Parallel 44 in Kewaunee. It was our second time visiting and we enjoyed it very much. We brought our own chairs, set them up on the lawn, bought tickets for the wine tasting and sat back and listened to the live music. It was a very enjoyable time. The harvest time sampling is very fun too. The vineyards are beautiful and you get a Country French feel from the winery. We bought a bottle of the Drink Pink! and Fontenac Dessert Wines. Loved it!

Enjoyed a fun time sampling their wines - brought back some St Pepin Late Harvest, Frontenac Desert, and Glacier Red and a new Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery - wine tote - thanks - it was a fun diversion for a football Saturday. Parallel 44 Winery is just a short drive from Green Bay on Hwy 29, south 4 miles on Sleepy Hollow Rd.I found this comparison between Green Bay, Bordeaux, and Tuscany - all on the 44th Parallel - interesting.Green Bay - Place2351 - growing degree days33 inches - annual precipitation13.1 hours - hours of daylight on September 1stBordeaux - Place2301 - growing degree days34 inches - annual precipitation13.1 hours - hours of daylight on September 1stTuscany - place2490 - growing degree days31 inches - annual precipitation13.1 hours - hours of daylight on September 1st

My husband and I have been going to Parallel 44 for their summer concerts for years. The winery is situated in the rolling farmland in western Kewaunee County. It's a beautiful setting with the vineyards to the south and the spire of a country church far to the west. While the winery is less than 10 years old, it's wines have won numerous national and international awards. The two-hour concerts have been offered weekly during the summer at no charge. However, it's only fair to purchase a bottle or two of wine in support of the event. In the past, picnic fare was allowed but this past summer they asked that no food be brought onto the premises. Instead, each concert featured food offered by an area restaurant as a way to help cover costs. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and relax!Parallel 44 offers various events during the year. To find out what's happening, check their website at parallel44.com. The winery in Kewaunee County was their first. However, during the summer of 2013 they opened another winery in Door County.

Out in the country side of Kewaunee county near the lake Michigan shoreline, Parallel 44 Winery is a true gem. They have award winning wines and a very friendly staff. They have year round events and we really love being members of their wine club. We get quarterly selections that allow us to try a different wines. As a wine club member, you also get discounts. You need to take a drive and see and taste this great winery! Say hi to Maria and Steve. It will be worth the trip
