The Christmas celebration of lights is fantastic. It's $8 per car, turn your headlights off and follow the line of cars through the park and see all the trees decorated with lights and other displays. You can get out and walk as well. Be prepared for a 20 plus minute wait as the cars get into the park, but once in its well worth it.

This park is very unique and has a wonderful playground for children. Right near the play area, is a marvelous zoo that has free admission. While there aren't many exhibits, it is a decent size for just under an hour of exploration. Gorgeous animals and gorgeous views.

We have been to Menominee Park many times and always a treat! A nice park that offers water sports, a zoo, swimming, playgrounds and plenty of room to roam. We were here again last night for the Christmas lights, there was quite a wait for this large display that spans the entire park

the two weeks we visited my in laws this year was just gorgeous weather so the kids asked many times to go to this park...I think they went like 4 times! I went once with them and they loved it! They took their bikes and rode around for quite a while too! They have a small playground for little kids too which was nice. We took a visit to the zoo....nothing too exciting but it's FREE! A few of the animals weren't there but the kids still had fun! In the past I have driven through the Christmas lights and that was a lot of fun too.

Beautiful lake views anywhere from the property. Found the surroundings both peaceful and beautiful. Was there on a late August night, so there were LOTS of bugs, but aside from that, it was very nice. Glad to have found this place for a nice stroll along the waterfront.

Liked proximity to Lake Winnebago.Disliked the goose population. Was much cleaner in the 60's.The 60's displayed a great number of beautiful flowers and a variety of shrubs. Cleanliness and neatness was the byword.

One of the nicest places in Oshkosh. Lake view benches, great area for picnics, sailing on Mondays and Thursdays (from July till September).Kids friendly zoo, fishing, kayaking (bring your own) swimming (when the water is not green), larger wooden play park (the best in the area). Ample space for any lawn games. I think if you want to be closer to the lake and to relax with various activities, this is one of the nicest places in Oshkosh.

Beautiful and well kept zoo. The zoo is slowly but surely moving away from small temporary enclosures to nice size exhibits for their animals.

We enjoyed the opportunity to stroll, explore and relax. There is a sailing club in the area. We liked the nice monument of German revolutionary and American statesman Carl Schurz in the park. We did not linger in the zoo but spent time walking and enjoying the nature. A nice place to stop.

The park has a small zoo, a small beach area next to the lake and huge open spaces. When we were there on Labor Day weekend, they had mini-speed boat races. Not sure what the boats are called, but they were fast and it was neat to see for the first time.

Menominee Park and the zoo are a nice way to spend a few hours. The zoo is small, but you can see all the exhibits quickly and go on to the enormous children's play area.

It really is a nice park. On the lake, nice paths for jogging/biking, entertainment. But the goose poop really ruins a lot of that.

Great views of the lake. A wonderful, free zoo! An enormous children's play area. Athletic fields. A boat launch. Light display at Christmas. Fantastic!

I have been going to the celebration of lights since I moved here 5 years ago. It is pretty cool to drive through but have noticed a decline in recent years, and they raised the price. Many of the lighting displays don't work properly, are missing lights, ect. They have some lights that are supposed to go along to music you tune in on your radio..but the music doesn't come in, and if it does it's faint and full of static. I recommend going on one of the free nights, but be prepared to wait in line. We get more disappointed in it every year and hope someone does something to freshen it up and fix everything.
