I can’t say enough nice things about this museum. It was really nice and my wife who usually has no interest in this type of thing seemed to enjoy it. I don’t know how long we were there but I expected for us to be in and out in less than 15 minutes, we spent way longer than that looking at all the cool stuff and talking to the owner. The owner was so nice to my boys they had so many questions and he answered every question they had. (And they had many questions). My boys are 8 & 6 and it was fun to watch the owner interact with them. On our way out he said he enjoyed when kids show interest in his collection, and it showed. If you are in the area this is a must see place even if you are only mildly interested in gas station/car memorabilia. Every August he has a car show and I think we will be back next year to check it out.

We visited on a rainy day. Like the other reviewers, we had driven by for years. What a treasure! Fascinating and really nicely done displays of classic car and gas station culture. (I work at a large museum and know the work that goes into a good display). The owner is just delightful and welcoming. Will please everyone, not just the "gear-heads" with the nostalgic exhibits.

Great little museum for anyone interested in the history of petroleum and the gas industry. Friendly owner. And it is Free.

We have visited this very well put together and interesting museum on several occasions. You can walk from the center of town or bike there as it lies along the bike path. The gentleman who owns and runs the museum does it because it is his passion and it shows. Well worth the visit.

Went to the museum while they were hosting the annual car show outside. Its a fun thing to do fo 45 minutes to an hour. Mostly a guy thing so would leave the ladies at home unless they are into old gas station items.

You can reach this museum via the 3 Eagles bike trail or by car. It is a wonderful collection privately collected and impeccably displayed by Ed, a local resident and auto historian. Even if you think you are not interested in cars or petrol memorabilia, you will be amazed by this collection and will find at least 3 items that will fascinate you and take you back in time. A wonderful place to visit for all ages. Oh, and yes, it is free! Check opening times...

Quite a collection of old petroleum related "stuff" gathered by the owner over the years. He had many stories to tell. He noted that one recent visitor said he would bring his grandson back. He suggested he should bring his father and grandfather! I agree. Much fascinating historical stuff.

Not sure if you will find another collection like this one anywhere else. Tastefully assembled and friendly owners. Definitely will take you back in time with some great days gone by memories. Very well done.

We too have driven by this place for years and finally stopped. It is much bigger than you expect from looking at it outside. The owner is pleasant and entertaining. It is right on the Three Eagle bike trail. I would suggest that he sell drinks and he would make some $ for all those who 'pass by'.

Stopped by today after Three Lakes Winery. Well worth the stop. Much more extensive than we would have guessed.

This is a wonderful museum to visit if you drive a car...you don't have to be a car buff, just like to see things from your past and get a thrill from that. This is a much larger museum than you think when you see if from the road. It is really huge. You will have a great time. My husband had been coming up here for years and never stopped...I went to a vintage car show there that was terrific...and just couldn't believe what fun the museum was....don't miss it. Not open on Sundays...but every other day.

What an interesting museum. Everything in the museum is the private collection of the owner, and he was very happy to show us around. The space is beautiful and open, with lots of light and fresh air. Everything is neatly arranged and labeled. I felt like I was seeing a slice of American history that I had no idea existed!
