I really enjoy playing golf at Foxfire. The course is both forgiving, yet challenging. It is a par 70 course, with two par 5s on the front nine and none on the back. About 2/3s of the course has natural boundaries, the rest has some houses flanking the course. I buy a punch card for 6 rounds of 18 holes walking for $125, or about $21 per round! I do avoid playing the course of weekends because play is slower. On weekdays, I can usually get on without a reservation. There is no practice range, but there is an area for practice of putting and chipping. If you use a gps device hole number nine plays about 20 yards longer than your gps will tell you.

Foxfire Golf Club located in Waupaca is a links style course. The golf course is attached to the Comfort Suites Hotel. You do not have to stay at the hotel to play the course as the golf course is run separately.Foxfire features quite a bit of water, sand and narrow fairways. It is a super fun course to play as it has it's challenges but I would consider it a very fair course as well. The course is playable for all levels of golfers which makes it fun to play. Foxfire has some long par 5's, short par 4's and fun to play par 3's. Unless you go in the water, you should be able to find your ball off most fairways as the links style course is pretty forgiving except for the water. The course has special tee time rates via their website or on www.golfnow.com. If you sign up on their website, you will receive tee time specials via email occasionally. The cost to play Foxfire is usually in the range of about $45. If you get the chance to play Foxfire Golf Club, do it. You'll have fun playing this course as well as finding it challenging. We always see deer, a fox (Foxfire!) birds, etc. while playing. Nature is abundant at Foxfire!
