All of Milwaukees festivals are held here. Great place for music and just plain fun. Right by Lake Michigan its the best spot for fun. Summerfest is here also and it has great food and great music

This is one event I like ...Mainly because the weather is usually awesome this time of year, the food is awesome , the people seem very under control for the size of crowd and polite . The music I think really sucks. a bunch of washed up bands only the drunk appreciate...no good R&B or Country bands ...but all in all i enjoy a friday or saturday nite there.

It's a summer-long string of festivals, the best of which is Summerfest. Food and music extravaganza. There's no reason NOT to go. I haven't been to many of the cultural festivals, but if you're going to check one out, make it Irish Fest. The dance and music are great. The major downsides to Summerfest are: #1, the massive crowds at night, which makes it almost impossible to get close to the stages to hear the bands, and #2, the price of the beer. They've jacked it up so high that you'd have to spend half your salary to catch even a little buzz. I think the major reason is to control drunken crowds, which has worked.

This is the home for Summerfest, the biggest music festival in the world, presented the last couple of weeks in June and first week in July every year. Also the home of numerous ethnic festivals on weekends throughout the summer including such festivals as Germanfest, Festa Italiana, Irish Fest, Polich Fest, and more. Definitely worth a visit when in Milwaukee.

Henry Maier Festival Park is named after a former Milwaukee Mayer who many years ago had a great vision. The Summerfest grounds blossomed from muddy fields to a world renowned entertainment destination where top musical acts and food of every possible origination all reside on the same grounds. It possesses a heartbeat all it's own with variety in every direction overlooking Lake Michigan. I have seen everyone from David Bowie, to Stevie Nicks, to Aerosmith, to Tim McGraw, to ERic Clapton, Toby Keith, and Waylon Jennings. The list goes on and on. This is also the main location to the majority of Harley Davidson events in Milwaukee. The number of musical events going on simultaneously at any given time during Summerfest is mind boggeling. If you have never been to Milwaukee, plan your trip to include Summerfest or the Harley events for the best time of your life, bar none!

Summerfest is the culmination of the music/food/fun time. Plus the grounds is also host to a different ethnic festival every weekend throughout the summer, such as Fiesta Mexicana, Irish Fest, African World Festival, Germanfest & many more.

Everyone needs to experience Summerfest at Maier Festival park once in their lives. I have been to Ravinia, New Orleans Jazz Festival and music festivals in California. None can compete with this wonderful park with over 19 music stages and whatever food you desire. Located along Lake Michigan with easy access from anywhere. Great people watching and comfortable. This is the best place for a festival in the country.

Summerfest is THE music festival. Eleven days. Eight hundred bands. Around 800000 visitors. Nothing compares. I love being able to see the hottest new up and coming bands, and great classic bands all in the same day for less than $20. Doesn't get better than that.

This is a great park for many events. It has several concert stages with a very beautiful open air stage that looked out on Lake Michigan behind the band. Of course this park is nothing without the festivals that seemed to be every week of the summer. We attended several days of Summerfest, German Fest, Irish Fest and the Frommes Pet Fest. Every one of the events was nothing but fun, great food and outstanding entertainment and Milwaukee is rightly known as the City of Festivals. There are several more festivals at the park throughout the summer but we could not get to all of them. Before planning a vacation to the area it would be wise to check out the festival schedule to make sure you get to at least one.

I like the way they are always adding and updating the festival grounds. I also appreciate the different types of music they have represented. Lots of different food. They do a good job at keeping things clean.

Great Time....There were a variety of Musicians and Entertainers...Authentic Italian Meals and Sweets. Enjoyed the Italian Heritage displays...Plenty of Vendors something for all ages...very family oriented.

Love the music and people watching. Great to get dropped off and take the free bus back to park and ride. Lots of choices from local restaurants and drinks. Always a highlight. Great deal for seniors to get in at a discount too.

We love to go to all the festivals...it has one for every nationality through out the summer. Great music, food and fun for all!

I stopped counting the number of Irish Fests I've been to and it is an arduous journey from Atlantic City. This year's lineup was best ever.. I felt I had my entire trip costs justified after the Thursday night programs. So Friday, Saturday snd Sunday were bonus. The Sunday liturgy inspires both spiritualy and logistically. And the weather was best ever also
