well preserved round barn...not many of these around anymore. Many varieties of apples, also unique items & food. Always a stop on my way to Gettysburg.

Not only is the Round Barn unique, but the selection of fresh apples was extensive! So many different varieties reasonably priced. The store has very nice yard products and flowers. Fresh honey, salad dressings, jams, jellies and many other homemade products. Well worth a quick side trip west of Gettysburg if you have some time to explore. Check out the round room upstairs!

Love going to this place - they have some really neat stuff. Harder to find items and the atmosphere gives it that little something extra. Some items are a little pricey though, so you just have to watch. They also do community oriented events and help out the local charities. I always go when they have the dog event. They help out the local humane society and shelters/rescues.

Enjoyable shopping experience! Played with farm animals, explored a variety of pumpkin and apple products, as well as homey crafts - all in a round barn! Reasonable prices for a great experience!

What a great find. The Round Barn is so cool. First of all, it is round. You can walk the entire way around it. Then all the goodies inside. Fruits, veges, jellies & jams, canned goods of all kinds, meats and cheese, crafts, and more. Friendly service too. Be sure and walk upstairs to see the wedding reception facility they have too. Great place!

We visit Gettysburg multiple times a year and never miss a ride out to the Round Barn...even when we don't have our grandson with us. I love the animals and browsing around in the barn is always nice way to spend some time. I am looking forward to our next trip in a couple of weeks!

Neat place to stop and stock up on some long forgotten treats. Friendly staff , great inventory. You have to climb the stairs to the loft and check out the way the roof was build. It's truly amazing. Go to Gettysburg fairly often and am going to make this a regular stop on my trip. Prices are very fair.

I could have spent all of my money here. They had very unique jellies, jams, and preserves, including sugar free! If only we had more money, I could have stayed longer than the hour that we did! The employees were friendly and my foster daughter loved the goats! Will go again, with a bigger budget!

If you don't want to try the fresh and regional food then go for the architecture beauty of the barn. It's grand scale and rustic charm is a must. We purchased a sasperlla soda, homemade molasses cookies, and some dried fruit rolls that were yummy. They even had orange cream milk which I have never seen before. When we checked out, they gave us a free peach. There were old farm relics and a sundry of other things to view or purchased. I really enjoyed this quick, beautiful 6 mile trip out of Gettysburg.

Just a little off the main road but so worth the stop. This is a very unique farmers market/ gift shop a little of everything but the cookbook section blew me away. The upstairs is set up for weddings it is so different and cool. A lot to purchase from plants to local crafted items. Will stop again!

This was our first stop on our vacation and SO worth stopping! Besides the cool architecture, the shopping was great! I found some unique gifts and a large variety of syrups that you can't find anywhere! If you're in the area, it is well worth your time to stop!

The round barn is so cool. I've never seen one before. And their produce is very good. And you can pet and feed the horses, goats, little donkeys, etc. it's fun for all ages.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and will tell you everything about the historic barn. The produce sold there is fresh, home grown produce. We are glad we found the place.

This is a nice stop if you're in the Gettysburg area. Your right in the middle of the rolling orchard covered hills of Adams County and the Round Barn is really an amazing building and nice little shop. You'll find gift items along with local food and produce to enjoy. Be sure to take the time to climb the narrow staircase to see the amazing roof structure on the 2nd floor. The price is right (free) and worth the drive from Gettysburg.

After seeing the advertisement for the Round Barn in the 2013 Official Visitor Guide for Gettysburg, I decided to add this to our itinerary. We drove for miles and miles on a scenic country road with apple orchards all around us. The Round Barn itself was unique in its historic architecture inside and out. If you are going for the "farm market" expecting to find delectable Pennsylvania baked goods (or hoping to find it stocked liked the picture on page 41 in the Visitor Guide) you will be sorely disappointed. Upon walking in it looked like they were in the midst of a "going out of business" sale. The few items that they did have on the shelves was nothing that you could not find at any grocery store in the area. Go for the barn, not the food. We had better luck and a nicer experience at a small farm stand on the side of the road where we picked up fresh green beans and spiced peaches.
