I take the kids for movies regularly, and I always notice the age of the carpet and seats. You can sometimes hear the movie playing next door, seems that the fast action films are the ones I notice. Ticket prices are average but it seems that concession prices are super high. Staff is usually pleasant.

Carmike has a monopoly on Franklin County. If they didn't, I doubt they would be in business. The place needs a major renovation. The floors are sticky, the seats are old, and the lobby has an atmosphere similar to that of a funeral home. Snacks are outrageously priced, as are move tickets. For the price, I expect a better facility.
