Indeed, if you don't get there at least 3 hours early your not going to get a great parking spot. We have an 8 and 10 year old that we don't take that often because they are normally either asleep by movie number 2 or very cranky the next day. But when we drive by it is always packed. And what is the best thing about it, they always play new releases. Not like some drive-in's. They have a decent snack bar and a play area for the kids. Everyone should get a chance to experience Haar's sometime soon.

Relive the old days at this classic auction/drive in theatre! Staff is always knowledgable and helpful! Here are some tips: as of 2014 admission is $8 per adult for the double feature, bring CASH as credit is not accepted on the premises, bring a stereo with fresh batteries, blankets, chairs, something to kill time before the movies start, and pillows if you have a truck or SUV to sit in the bed comfortably! My family and I look forward to Haar's every year, and my boyfriend and I have made a habit of Friday date nights here :)

There aren't many of these Drive Inns left in the Us. Go! Take your family to see a movie. Just like the good ol days!

Drove an hour to see the Jimmy Buffett concert on the big screen but the video was basically double vision and the audio was so low I had to crank my speakers the whole way just to hear it at all. It wasn't terribly crowded and it was still fun for my date and I but I won't be back until I know for sure that the A/V problems are fixed. I know that may not be their fault as it was a live feed but it should have been checked out prior to the show.

Don't listen to their no alcohol "rule" because we did and were left with our thumbs up our butts. You also may not leave the premises and return with out paying for another ticket. I looked at the screen and thought I forgot my 3d glasses. The staff was really nice, though. It would've been better if I had been more of a rebel, It just seemed like these rules were really enforced.

I look forward to Haar's every summer. There's nothing like sitting out under the stars and watching a fun movie. Unlike the Bengies in Baltimore, they don't go around kicking people out for bringing their own snacks - although that's not necessary because their snack bar has a great variety of junk food for everyone. The lines at the snack bar and the bathrooms get very crowded between features, so plan ahead. We loved that the front rows were reserved for the small cars, so that the monster trucks don't block our view. Overall, Haar's is a well-managed, inexpensive and friendly drive-in. I am so happy to see this place is still here!

Good place to take your family for great weekend evening of fun. New digital projector great picture quality and always two new movies. The greatest homemade french-fries and frozen custard.

Great place to spend a weekend evening. Shows first run, family worthy movies. Lots of variety of snacks in the snack bar. Family run.

easy to get to, great with grandkids to enjoy something we did as kids, sound was good, all parking spots are great, a visit to the snack bar with the kids was great, they allow you to bring chairs if you want to sit outside the car.

Most of us only have heard about drive-in movie theatres. This one in Dillsburg, PA is still functioning. Depending on the weather or movie, this could be a lot of fun. It may not be as convenient or comfortable as watching a movie from home, but it is a nice experience. TIP: Bring along some outdoor chairs if you don't want to sit in your car.

If you're looking for a classic drive-in, Haar's is it. The snack bar food is delicious, especially the fries and shakes. Hustle if you're getting some at intermission; the line can be daunting.

I love this place. great value, family friendly, and inexpensive. A safe place to take your family. Go before it closes... not many left these days. Drive In on radio

I have been going to Haar's Drive-in my whole life. It has been a family stop for many generations. It is fun to still see the same commercials between movies as when my own parents where kids. Many great memories from my childhood and passing them on to my own children. Staff is always friendly. Great selection of movies and it is a steal at only $18 for a family of 4 for 2 movies. Get there early for a good spot and don't forget to visit the snack stand. Great food!

the movies, the french fries, the fact that the owners patrol the lot and don't let jerks in big vehicles park in the car row (in front of our tiny car in the other car row) good movie offerings; and reasonable prices for kids (even though we don't have any of our own!)
