Being from Easton, I was excited when the museum opened. I have visited numerous times and always take people who visit with us there for a whole museum experience in one spot. I am always amazed how many stories that are found inside. There are also changing exhibits, so there is something new to enjoy. The gift shop has great local and Pennsylvania items; many unique for your friends back home. Yes, I am a member and very happy to be able to give some support.Hope you get an opportunity to visit.Jerry

Thank you for visiting the Sigal Museum. Our museum is designed for visitors to spend as much time as they wish, but it is easy to see and enjoy all our experiences in one day. Downtown Easton offers a wonderful selection of restaurants and shopping experience for visitors of all ages. We are pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope that you will return again.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you allowed a docent to take you through the museum and then explored on your own. We hope that you will return again not only to tour the museum but to participate in our programs and activities.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your time at the Sigal Museum. Northampton County citizens and industries played a significant role in the development of our national history and there is a lot for our visitors to see and to do. Please visit often, you may also enjoy our programs and activities.

They have various exhibits that change frequently. The displays are well thought out and showcase artifacts and art in a beautiful way. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We are avid museum visitors wherever we go, so it was time to see something closer to home. We had always wondered what the Sigal Museum actually is, because from the outside it looks like it might house modern art. Come to find out that it is located in the Sigal building, but the name says nothing about its contents. This is a nicely laid out and well equipped museum exhibiting local history and artifacts, from Native American to Civil War. Several friends have remarked that they never knew much about this museum, so they might benefit from a better marketing campaign to tell the world about the great things on display.

Accompanied a school trip and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the facility and the exhibits. Put this at the top of your things to visit in downtown Easton.

We were in Easton on a Wednesday to visit the farmers market, but had some time to kill. After lunch and a beer or two, we decided to walk around and found this museum. It was nice that we didn't hit it on a peak time (actually, we were the only two visitors there) and were able to wander around taking our time. The museum has a diverse array of artifacts and some great hands-on exhibits. Honestly, I'm not sure about taking young children, since it's a lot of reading and history (except for the Just Born exhibit - awesome!), but we had a great time.

Some time ago we visited this museum to attend a presentation on Wine/ Beer/ mead brewing during the 1600/1700's. Before the talk had an opportunity to see the exibits. It was excellent. We also visited the bookstore which was well stocked with books and crafts.Well worth a visit

The Sigal Museum has a large collection of artifacts telling the story of Northampton County, Pennsylvania. This museum opened in 2010. The library contains many volumes of historical and genealogical interest but is open just 3 days a week.

Museum is a 1 block walk from Crayola. Gives great history about area that will hit a note with all ages (8-100yrs) and genders. Martin guitar exhibit, Just Born exhibit, area history & scavenger hunt for kids. Went during Heritage Days (most area museums have free admission) had great talk on Declaration of Independence. Easton one of 3 cities where Declaration was read in July 1776. A lot of fun!

I am a sucker for an auction, and I won an event at this location. I had never been there and visited to make my arrangements. It's a gorgeous building in bustling downtown Easton walking distance from the Crayola Factory and center square, and it is filled with great displays of how the Lenape Indians lived, what people wore, etc. as well as dedicated, knowlegable docents. My event was in Dec and they had a special display of antique toys in the lovely room on the third floor with a floor to ceiling glass wall offering city views..very cosmopolitan and attractive to visit or for an event. Re: the event, what a great venue~ and they included so many extras and such great attention to detail. Visit this museum and consider it for your event!

We moved away from Easton when this museum was still in its planning stages. On a recent trip back to town we had the opportunity to visit the "finished" product. What a treat! The space itself is well-designed and offers and excellent setting for the exhibits. But we had no idea that the collections were this large! The Lenape exhibit was exceptional and the other artifacts and collections were educational and interesting. The museum has exhibits of special interest to kids as well. What impressed me the most is that the museum is not just a static exhibit -- different historical as well as artistic exhibits are featured each month. There are interactive exhibits, self-guided tours and docent-led tours. This museum by itself is a reason to visit Easton!

Terrific jewel of a museum filled with local lore in the center of an historic American city. The Segal Museum was a finalist in a national architectural design competition.
