I'm 11 but I'm the size of a 13 year old and no where did they say you had to be 12 to ride the adult car not on the website and neither in the store. So when I went to go and signed up the guy told me very rudely that I had to ride the junior cart although I was tall enough to ride the adult car. Then he continued to say I lied about my age last time though this was the first time I went there. But I gave in. So we go to drive the junior cars and I went there with my dad aND my friend. And even though we where all way to big for the cars they made all of us ride in them so we start and the car go slow to start of but whenever someone behind me my car slows down so that can pass me so I'm never going again and plus my birthday is only 2 days away

Lots of fun for a group of people to get together and put their driving skills to the test. The cars are quick and the handling of the car and speed is in your hands

100 bucks spent to not even go 30 miles an hour. I get more excitement riding my bicycle around center city. It totally wasn't worth the trip all the way out there from the city. We explained upon registration it was our first time there... We were poorly assisted by a miserable and unhelpful girl at the register who acted as if we were blessed to be in her presence. Then while riding my cart seemed to be malfunctioning... That or they never liberated the speed of my cart enough. Everyone else was riding at 40 and lapping me. I never hit the break once and I never bumped into anything either so why they would restrict my speed is beyond me. Like I said... Totally not worth it.

Me my wife brought my brother in law here to celebrate his birthday. What a FANTASTIC surprise!!! He enjoyed it as well as us. It was all our first time and we had a great time. Wished it lasted longer. We brought the package online discounted from Living Social, $54 for 4 ppl!!! Total. We saved a lot of money by doing that because I'm sure it's more money for a group of 4. Overall a very good day. We had a 14 lap race in our package but for some reason it felt shorter maybe that's just how fast we were going LOL

Took my cousin and little brother to their first go kart race! It was our first time there and I did told the manager that it was everyone first time there so we don't know what we were doing! I thought this place was for racing where we can drive fast and try to race with each other but they keep putting up the sign for us to drive slow! The what the hell are we here for if we have to drive slow! This place should name itself "drag race" instead of "speed race" is good for little kids! The staff sucks and are really not friendly! I will not come back! This place sucks! Waste of money! Idk why we have to waste 6 dollar for a license to drive a electric car that go so slow!

This place is horrible. They do not check to make sure any kid or adult is strapped in, let people purposely slam into you, and cut people short laps that are paid for. Don't waste your money.

Peculiar place. Staff acts like they are doing you a favor for waiting on you. You have potentially long waits between races and quite frankly, the carts are not that fast. It should be called Drag Raceway because that is what it is....a drag.

I enjoyed the go-karts here - they are very fast! This was a fun experience, but something you only really need to do once, unless racing is your thing. The staff is friendly and helpful and you get print outs of your results, which is cool.If you are on the taller side, you might have a hard time fitting into the go-karts - I am 6'1" and couldnt keep my legs straight. Its a fun place to try out.

I don't go for go karting often but whenever I have done it I have enjoyed it very much. It was my first time in Speed Raceway and first time with electric go karts, I was part of corporate event organized by my employer. Everybody in my group (~30 people) was booked for 2 races.I did my first race and I was so excited with the responsive karts, wide tracks, sharp turns no fumes etc. I got the fastest time in our groups (~30 people). I was looking forward to the second race and eager to enjoy it to the fullest and improve my time. Here come the second race and all my excitement turned into disappointment. I don't know why but maximum speed of our karts was reduced and we could never enjoy the full speed that we experienced in first race. It was such a big let-down. I had pressed the accelerator to the full and still I didn't need to apply any breaks during entire laps and my time was very high compared to first time. And the icing on the cake was that my lap times were not being recorded in their list and once I realized that I was waving like a joker and telling the guides about the problem and after waving so hard and so long somehow they realized the problem and rectified it. My lap times started getting recorded and last 3 lap times were included in their results. It was such a big disappointment :(.The slow speed of the carts compared to first race was experienced by everybody in my group. When we complained about it they didn't give any satisfactory answer. I guess it was for “the safety of our group”. Even though I didn’t hit or bumped into any other racer even once and didn’t hit the track side walls they somehow decided that we can’t handle the top speed and kept us slow.Anyways this place would be good if you want to drive karts at a leisurely pace. But I would warn you to bet your money on this place if you want to have a good fun, driving fast, taking sharp turns, overtaking your fellow racers. If you try doing that your kart's speed will be reduced and you will feel like you are taking a stroll in a park.

Went there with 8 friends after dinner on Jan,30.2014. Had one race and decided to race again. waited an hour and in that hour we noticed our names came up to start and then taken away and other names came up. waited a little longer and it never happen. We could tell there were regular races there and it was obvious they put them ahead of us. we went up front and asked them and of course they had no answer so they returned us the money and gave us a coupon for next time. most of us will not return anymore. seems like they take care of certain people and not the once and a while racers.

The short review is that it was fleeting fun, but expensive, with a long wait time (40 minutes for an 8 minute race), even with a reservation. On the positive side, it's clean and the cars are electric, fast, and fun to drive. The place is new and has potential if they can work out some of the negative aspects. They need a snackbar, for one thing. Secure lockers for personal items would also be great. The motorcycle helmets they make you wear are a bit heavy, esp. for kids. But the biggest issue is that your race is over in a flash. They tell you "it's not a race" but it actually is. The ones who zoom around the track faster will end the non-race earlier, meaning if you're last, you'll be shortchanged out of your 14 laps. Your "Race Statistics" sheet spells out exactly how many laps you took. In our case, we had fast racers on our track, so they quickly burned through 15 laps and then all of us were directed off the track. Meanwhile the slower drivers among us had only gotten around 9 times. To the manager's credit, we complained about this and were given a "free race" each if we ever decide to trek back out there and wait again.Bottom line, the place has potential, but they have some work to do.

Awesome place to take kids...Not inexpensive, but worth the smiles! I had three 17 year olds and a 13 year old, plus myself racing...We had a blast! Staff was soooo nice...Would definitely go again!

When traveling with our family, it's a challenge finding varied attractions suitable for everyone, but even our older kids (ages 19-23) enjoyed the karting. This is something all ages can enjoy. Venue is clean and organized. It isn't cheap but they have packages and specials with lower prices (bring student IDs, in case there's a student special).

We had a great time. It really gets your blood going, especially if you're competing against friends. The staff was helpful, it was a well run event, clean and warm. we were there on a weekday and there was no waiting in line. The cars are fast but safe and well maintained. I can see where it might be a bit pricey for a family on a regular basis though.

Wanted to have a Birthday Day party for my son and this place is a mess with problems. First problem was hard to book a party... when on one calls you back. Drove from Northeast Philadelphia to Horsham in person one day just to make sure it was done right. I was met with a young girl at counter who questioned me. All I wanted was to book a party without mistakes. They mixed up the time of the party. Had to have 2 groups race not one group like they promised. Kids were unhappy about the whole experience and the staff was RUDE to them when riding around the track. They made the cars go slower when they wanted and had total control over who they wanted to go slower just because they can. The time the kids had to wait just to use the cars on the track was over a 2 hour wait, Why did we even book a time. This was a NIGHTMARE and the price got more and more expensive than first told. NEVER AGAIN. This place CRASHED and BURNED. Then to top it off, they asked if I would book my companies next event with them and not else where. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.... Why would I ever book an event for my Company here if you cant get my kids Birthday party right.
