This gem of a lake is located very close to my home so we generally visit several times a year. There are many hiking and biking trails. We enjoy taking our dog on the trails as they are not crowded and varied in length and scenery. There is a nice marina where you can rent pontoon boats and bicycle boats. There is also a camp ground and about a dozen cabins for rent. The cabins sell out quickly so you may need to rent several months in advance. The camp ground is also popular on the weekends. I don't fish but that is also a popular recreation at Glendale Lake.

Beautiful, peaceful lake. We camp near the lake and take our pontoon out every chance we get. The surrounding State park is well maintained and beautiful. We enjoy the wild life, fishing and on quite a few occassions have spotted Bald Eagle. Highly recommend spending time here. Friends of ours have stayed at the Crooked Run Campground which is on the lake and it is well kept and nice.

Big for fishing, and camping. There is a boat marina for rentals and fuel for your own water craft. There are many inlets to get-a-way fishing.

Prince Gallitzin State Park surrounds Glendale Lake. A lovely state park with a very popular camping area. The campground is almost always filled up. You can boat, swim, fish, hike and enjoy many nature programs provided by the park staff. One of the best state parks around.

Glendale Lake is a back to nature type of park. Very nice for picnics with the family. A very nice campground there too.

The camping is good with acess to the lake. Fishing on the lake is fun. Also, people use their sailboats and enjoy it. There is a swimming area, rental cabins and picnic pavillions.

There's camping, fishing, picnicking, hiking, swimming etc. I love to go camping here. It's a cheap way to have a vacation. And the best thing is that they have BATHROOMS! There's boats to rent.
