Most zoos don't let children get up close with animals, especially zebras, camels tigers and wolves. This place is perfect for young children. We took our five year old and three month old on a Friday afternoon and they had a great time. The animals have plenty of room to roam and they are all very friendly and happy. They enjoy the visitors and the kids enjoy getting to spend time getting to know them. The owners are super friendly and love answering questions and spending time with the visitors who come to see their "animal family". We were told there are 252 animals and it is true the longer you stay the more animals you notice. I would suggest going when they first open for the day around noon. We were there two hours and when we left it was starting to get busy with bigger families. It was also super easy to get to. We can not wait to take the kids back.

The owner Laurie salvio is the most friendliest and takes time with you showing you and teaching you about the animals. You can purchase food to feed them and that is lots of fun Have been there before and alwaysHas been a fun time. She is closed now for the season but please mark your calendars for next year and plan a visit. Whether just a few of you a family or a field tripShe is very accommodating as is her husband Rob
