A great business sitting on the banks of the Susquehanna River. Gear for all types of water sports along with guided tours and classes. They now have a restaurant to quell your hunger!

We recently participated in the Paddle and Dinner event. Two of us had kayaked before but it had been a while and the third person in our party had never kayaked. The event leaders were very patient and did a quick lesson for the beginners. No need to bring your own equipment. They had everything there to rent. We had a nice leisurely paddle down the river. The group would stop from time to time to allow for others to catch up. Afterwards, there was dinner and wine tasting!!! The food was great!!!! Would definitely do this event again

Enjoyable kayak ride for $26, lasted around 2 hr, safe traveling on the Susquehanna along the shoreline, beautiful scenery & good place for a rookie's (like me) first kayak experience. Nice gift shop and I heard the snack bar/cafe is nice. Nice laid back staff who is helpful, & likely a family-owned business.

The best outfitters ever. Family owned and operated, and they make everyone else feel like family, and treat them like family. Year-round events. Kayak excursions, live music on the beautiful front porch with one of the most scenic views of the Susquehanna. Lock 2 Cafe has an adequate selection of light fare and is always delicious. On paddle nights with dinner following in the Rookery, you will think you are dining at a Top Notch fine dining restaurant. Liz loves to cook and does an awesome job, using local produce when she can, cooking healthy but very, very tasty. And her presentation is always perfect. If you are renting or buying outdoor equipment, this is where you need to go. You will get the best equipment, best prices, and experienced people to demonstrate use of such equipment. And don't forget to pet the family pets (dogs) who are usually there, and such a wonderful part of the place.

If you have active kids, this is a great way to break-away from the museums and typical attractions. We rented two kayaks (a double and a triple) and had a wonderful time. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and we would do this again. This is a memory maker!
