Located in the center of Zelienople is a Venue that will make any live show one you will always remember. The Strand is very small and all seating is so close to the stage you can hear the performers sweat. ( not true, but you should get my point.) The entire complex has been given a loving remodel that is wonderful.. I saw B.E. Taylor and his band on Feb. 15 2015 and it was a delight. The personal at this venue are professional and ready to help in any way to make your visit pleasant.. There are five parking areas starting behind the Strand and works out to the far lot just two blocks from the venue..

The Strand Theater in Zelienople just keeps on bringing wonderful shows to the Pittsburgh area in a comfortable small town venue that is easy to travel to, and surrounded by quaint little restaurants for dining. Last evenings performance of an "Andrew Lloyd Weber Review" shared with us favorites from Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, and Jesus Christ Superstar, which was particularly pertinent in light of the upcoming Easter Holiday season. In between numbers by 4 different artists, all who have lived or trained in the Pgh area, we were provided humorous narratives and anecdotes about Weber and life on Broadway, Delightful evening of entertainment! Don't miss a chance to see one of the many upcoming shows!

Have only been in The Strand a few times but have enjoyed it immensely. They have alot of retro movie nights, and at times even show some more modern productions. I have yet to see a live production but would love to if the time ever permits. Fairly new to the area but The Strand will definitely be a frequent visit for us.

My husband and I discovered this remarkable little theater in Zelienople where we regularly go to see some great shows without the stress or inconvenience of fighting Pittsburgh traffic and large crowds. Among the shows we have seen are 3 former Broadway Phantom of the Opera singers (doing numbers from Phantom, Les Miserables and South Pacific. Incredible! We recently saw a group called Lights Out who do a full Frankie Valli repertoire with full dance routines sooo well you'd think you stepped back in time. (Look them up on youtube). Check the schedule for The Strand on their website. This Theater has big plans for expansion, and will this year be doing their first musical, Oliver.
